Samokov (Bulgarian: Самоков) is a town in Sofia Province in the southwest of Bulgaria. It is situated in a basin between the mountains Rila and Vitosha, 55 kilometres from the capital Sofia. Due to the suitable winter sports conditions, Samokov, together with the nearby resort Borovets, is a major tourist centre.

A classic place for Apres Ski with Great Food, Great Beer and a friendly welcome from former olympic Skier Cristo Angelov. For those that love the slopes you can even have a lesson from the great man himself.
We love this place, really good food and always a warm welcome from one of the local legends, Christo.

You already have Hotel Alpin Borovets on the site, however I want to rate only the restaurant.
We visited this restaurant and was place right in front of the gent playing guitar for the entertainment.
Thought on no to load, but he had the sound just right.
The food is very much the same over all restaurants in the town, but I really enjoyed this place

A very lively and friendly place. Good place to meet up with friends after skiing - used a lot by 'Borosport' groups/instructors which adds to the atmosphere.
The food is OK but if it is a quite, cosy atmosphere that you are looking for then maybe this is not the place

Managed by husband and wife team, Bobby and Kas, Bobby’s Bar is a family run restaurant, 100metres across from the gondola on the right-hand side. If you are coming from the Rila end of the resort, walk down towards the gondola and you will find us half way down on the left hand-side. Built in traditional alpine style, with a large open fire and a outside Terrace area for the summer (and off the road for children) there is no better place to spend an evening after coming off the snowy slopes. Featuring Sky sports, children’s activities, lots of party games and plenty of free drinks, you can be sure that Bobby’s Bar will become your home from home. There's nothing like the mountain air to get your appetite going and here at Bobby's Bar we cater for all tastes. Our brand new gourmet menu with local favourites and some specialties from the Black Sea coast, is suitable for large groups, parties, families and individuals, although after arriving at Bobby’s Bar, you will never be on your own again; Kas will introduce you to others and you will end up not just with ski buddies but lifelong friends.
Visited Bobby's Bar three times during our week skiing. Tried the sharing Fajitas, an everything-on pizza, and the hake and chips. All good quality, tasty, and plenty of it. The dark beer was good, great toffee-vodka shots appeared a few times, and the atmosphere was lively and entertaining. Three great nights

Owned and managed by Todor, Target is the perfect get-away from Borovets! Located just 5 minutes down the road, we pride ourselves on great food with great prices! Our large covered outside caters for all those smokers among you and our 2 floors of tables inside makes sure groups, families and younger guests are well looked after! Come and visit us - we're sure you won't be disappointed!
Modern design and friendly personnel. The chicken soup was great the ribs and the pork medallions wasn't tasteful.

Over the last year Sunnys Diner was formed with a team from all over the world launching into our first restaurant in Borovets, Bulgaria in 2012. After a great first season full of some amazing new friends and experiences we have built on our passions for great food and unique vibes to open again with a full range of new meals, deals and of course our customers favourites from the past. Our passion for food has lead us to create a range of Hearty BBQ Classics, Gourmet Burgers & Hot Dogs, Pub Favourites, Pizza's and a Wacky and Fun Kids menu. Also this year we are implementing a range of our favourite tastes and flavour's from around the globe, and with our fantastic new Bulgarian cook and staff pumping out all the local go to dishes. We look forward to meeting you so come in a say GIDDAY
No dish on the table was tasty. Everything was either awfull or just not tasty. Also the guy that served us wasn't kind, we didn't like his behaviour cause it looked like he was bored to death. But the worse was the delay. We ve been waitting for the food to come for at least 1hour and a half, and when he finally he did bring our food, he found out that they made a mistake about our order.
The place was good though.
But in general,i consider it as a loss of money and time

We had a great night in this bar on St Patrick's Day. This bar had a good mix of ages, although predominately patronized by men - we were a group of 4 ladies. Music was excellent and drinks were a reasonable price. Definitely worth a visit.

The food wasn't so bad, but served almost cold as large groups had booked almost the whole place and it was a busy night. The worst was that smoking was allowed and with the lack of ventilation it became quickly unbreatable. The live music was also quite bad - not only the style they played, but the performance itself was poor.
