Konoba Roko

We are a family run restaurant with a B&B and apartments. We pride ourselves on preparing locally sourced fresh fish and scampi, we grow and prepare our vegetables and salad and serve everything straight from our garden to the table (via the grill!)We also have free wifi for our customers. Our menu changes daily to reflect the season, what we have caught and what is growing in the garden. Zaglav is easily reached from Zadar by a regular ferry service. For those who reach us by sailing boat we are close to the mooring site which has electricity, water and is usually free. Zaglav is the only port that sells fuel for sailing boats in the Archipelago. The surrounding area is beautiful and Zaglav is an excellent place to start exploring the Kornati Islands, Telaščica National Park and the area around Zadar. We have the dive centre nearby, there are also basketball, volleyball and quiet areas for children. We are lucky to live in a safe environment and a perfect climate.

We've been in Croatia for 10 days and this was easily the best meal we've had on our trip. Delicious fresh sea bass, vegetables roasted on embers and local wine to accompany and marmalade pancakes for dessert, finished off with complementary fruit liqueurs. The service was friendly and helpful and the owner seemed to take real pride in his delicious fresh food. We'll definitely be back before the end of our trip!

We had a satisfying dinner with good and fresh fish (tuna and calamari). Prices are good, the only bad mention is for the wine.

We were on Dugi otok for the first time for vacation and were really surprised with Konoba Regula, that we visited for 3 times during our vacations, thats how much we liked it. Its located in a beautiful bay that is often visited by sailing boats. Absolutelly would recomend octopus prepared in a local way ("peka") and al sorts od meat. Try chocolate cake! Stuff is friendly and owner is really friendly. An absolutelly must, when in near.

They have good location by the walking area in the marine. Food was really good, but the service was terrible, waiting staff seemed very bored and annoyed, they do not pay attention and this is something I very much hate in the restaurant. Would not reccomend to spend your time there and be dissapointed.

Konoba Marin

Konoba Marin is a small family restaurant located in the center of Sali with most beautiful old courtyard. Visit us and enjoy great food at reasonable prices in most lovely atmosphere you can find on the island :)

I visited konoba Marin with my family and friends and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening. Great food, friendly staff and (finally!!) what felt like a traditional dalmatian atmosphere.
I ordered the tuna steak and I tried the prawns, both delicious! That said I could have happily dipped bread in the homemade olive oil all night.
Great decision to include Dugi Otok on our itinerary and I thoroughly recommend dropping into Sali and eating at konoba Marin.

We booked an apartment in the guest house of this restaurant for 2 nights. It was supposed to be an apartment with kitchen and everything, however when we got there they tried told us they had only one night available ( we booked months in advance) and the room was a hotel room without kitchen and Wi-Fi was terrible. Never again!

Squid was amazing. Cevapcici were good, but not the best I'd had. Staff were friendly, and we were sitting practically 2 feet away from the sea.
Only thing that sort of ruined our experience were the wasps. Lots of wasps in the area... Not agressive ones, but still very annoying.

If you are on Dugi Otok near Sali, certainly visit tavern Go-Ro small family restaurant surrounded by olive trees and the aroma of fresh herbs and plants.
We decided to eat on the recommendation of the chef Jakov, who recommended us tuna marinated in port, fried eggplant with yogurt. As the "icing on the cake," grilled grouper. ;)
Yes, that really happened.

Pizzeria Bruc

Reviewed By zgubidann - Sisak, Croatia

The place was swarming with guests, but the staff had it under control.
Pizzas are very good, a bit smaller as normal in Croatia, but tasty. I like frutti di mare - if you get a few pieces on it and almost all of them are surimi - it's bad. Here it wasn't like that at all.
Other pizzas were also ok.
Prices moderate, very good for Dalmatia where everything costs more.
And when it comes to beer - very poor!
You get to choose between two worst commercial brands for quite high price...
