Always packed. Need to get there early. Homemade fries. Terrace open in warm weather. Dine and watch boats go by. Possible to have pan-fried fish without breading. Attention to detail. Attentive and pleasant staff. Casual and inexpensive but worth the detour.

Everything was delicious : the omelettes, the eggs, casseroles, fresh fruits. I had a flavorful, fragrant lavender tea, made of loose lavender flowers. Coffees and desserts are]]great. We appreciated the complimentary pieces of dark chocolate at the end of our meal. Great view of the Richelieu River.

Had a great reunion with friends from Vermont and Montreal today. Sitting outside was very nice. Service was excellent even though some were challenged with French. Drinks were promptly delivered. A few of us chose the pitcher of sangria. A variety of appetizers were chosen....MoreThank you very much for your excellent feedback. Hope to see you again.

Fantastic service, food, atmosphere. Very modern high end dining experience. Your palette will be delighted. We arrived 2 hours early since our plans changed and they accommodated us extremely well. Drinks in the upstairs lounge until what appeared to be a business group showed up...MoreThank you! We look forward to serving you again.

Excellent service. Food was very prompt, well presented and delicious. Most deserved compliments to the chef.
The restaurant is nicely decorated and very relaxing to lounge in a booth.
Our waiter was fluently bilingual and they had English menus.
I'd highly recommend the meat lovers flat bread pizza and the salted steak.
We'd definitely return to Pacini St-Jean.

This restaurant was recommended to us by our taxi driver the evening before. Took him up on his suggestion and couldn't have been happier. Great coffee, breakfast mimosas and various delicious eggs Benedict options. Service was prompt and atmosphere was lovely. Great breakfast joint.

We had a few minutes to kill before dinner so we tried this place for our happy hour. The four of us all had a different selection (on minor with a very good non alcoholic beverage recommended by the waitress). The waitress also guided us through the selection of beer, taking the time to explain their brew. I had a sampler of 4 beers, half were excellent and half I would not take again. A good place to spend an hour or two.

Le Dorchester is a pub with great cocktails, local beers and a variety of home made dishes in a sports bar kind of atmosphere. We also have a dinning room which is a quieter more contemporary atmosphere. You can also call a head and reserve a private room for all sorts of events. Come in and see for yourselves.
We enjoyed a dinner at Le Dorcester during a one day trip to St.-Jean-sur-Richelieu. Food and service was good. English or French spoken well. This is a small and popular spot so we were lucky to get in without Reservations. The restaurant has a pub section and a dining room section.
