Rüsselsheim am Main is the largest city in the Groß-Gerau district in the Rhein-Main region of Germany. It is one of seven special status cities (implementing several functions that counties normally provide) in Hesse and is located on the Main, between Frankfurt and Mainz, only a few kilometres from its mouth in Mainz. The suburbs of Bauschheim and Königstädten are included in Rüsselsheim. Rüsselsheim has attained international recognition through the presence of the German car company Adam Opel GmbH.

I was passing through Russelsheim for business, and I choose Orazio mainly because of 2 reasons; overall positive feedback in Tripadvisor, and… walking distance from my hotel…
I was skeptic as Orazio it lost in a unhappy commercial area and I always try to avoid Italian restaurants out of Italy… , but I’ve immediately review my opinion; quite comfortable, welcoming, friendly Italian approach, good and delicate food with reasonable price… try-it

This family restaurant is absolutely wonderful and totally German: friendly and helpful wait staff, hefty and delicious offerings, especially German favorites, and a small town family oriented clientele. The first time I tried to get in it was booked solid with locals, but a week later I was able to get in on a Wednesday and was thoroughly delighted. I was, I think, the only 'outsider' there but was made to feel right at home and was welcomed and well taken care of. If you have a car and are looking for a place sort of nearby the Frankfurt airport (and have a GPS system or good map, then this is the place that will make your travel worth while... probably 15 minutes away from the airport. I travel in Germany a lot and this place is top-notch.

For me MITCH represents the fusion of cultures in Rüsselsheim: They incorporate homely far-away tastes and good seasonal and local produce to great creations. Sometimes they get minor technical things a little wrong, but that is totally overshadowed by their warmth, intimacy and creativity of their dishes.
This really is a multiple star restaurant in a bistro's clothing!
Expect to get food and wine which is way too reasonably priced for the quality and taste.
Mitch is a small place, so reserve a table. Very hard to get in at lunchtime when people swarm in from the surrounding companies.

Having been to "Tinos" on several occasions, I can recommend the restaurant for its consistently good food and excellent service. The restaurant has a very welcoming atmosphere, and the owner always makes a point of personally welcoming his guests. The food is excellent in this price category, and I will be returning when next in town.

We went there with guests from abroad and enjoyed the food a lot.
The Jägerhof in Rüsselsheim offers a variety of German especially Hessian delicates. You can get anything with Handkäs starting from a soup made from this special cheese or a Schnitzel with a Handkäs sauce. An interesting variety of different Schnitzel, Steaks and Sausages make this place somehow special. A very good choice for people who love meat. For everyone else there is a menu full of salads or Flammkuchen.
Besides the food you can drink funny mixes of apple wine. Definitely an interesting place to explore in a nice environment and a very friendly service.

Being a short walk from the Amedia Boardinghouse / Best Western hotel and Reading up on other TripAdvisor reviews, we visited this restaurant with biergarten.
The service is great, the location is doable but offers plenty of room when seated in the biergarten (haven't actually been inside with the lovely weather) and the drinks are good and cool.
The food is actually far beyond anything we expected, as the taste is magnificent and the choice is broad. The prices are low to boot, even for biergarten standards. On both occasions we visited here we were able to enjoy a full meal with extras, lovely desserts matching the menu pictures, plenty of drinks and leave room for a decent tip for 50 Euros per visit. That's less than 25 Euros per person - and we didn't hold back!
This is definately worth visiting if we find ourselves in the area again! :D

Working near this restaurant I have been here many times over the years, both with friends and customers. The food is excellent as is the service and facilities. The set lunchtimes menu is always good value for money and very tastey.

We got here very late so we could only get salads or flammkuchen. But the salad was very good also the flammkuchen it was more than enough to stop my hunger. The service was good also the athmosphere. The only thing what bothered me was a group of very loud (drunk) people. Besides that i can only recommend this place.

Very popular restaurant by the River Maine. Good size Terrace with plenty of tables & chairs. Service a bit slow on the Saturday afternoon we were there. Had to go inside and order directly at the counter. Latte coffe @2.90, ordinery coffee 2e. Flamkucken overpriced at nearly 9e but the baked Camembert I though was good at 7.50e. Good selection of cakes as always in Germany @ 2.50e a slice and a good size too. The inside is looking a bit shabby and could probably do with some refurbishment.

Our German hotel disappointed us, it was our fault as we did not read the small print about the restaurant being closed from Friday for the weekend. The bar was no better, when asking for a local German wine I was offered an Italian white.
How fortunate for us! We took a walk looking for somewhere to eat and found La Bodega. A Spanish restaurant serving both Spanish and German food. A friendly welcome, a good menu and comfortable surroundings. A family run restaurant which serves good food and has a good choice of dishes to suit everyone at sensible prices.
And we got a nice bottle of German Reisling.
We were happy.
