Located on Princess Hwy, Dandenong.
Friendly staff and clean inside.
First thing noticed is the excessive noise of blaring music. Having a conversation is quite difficult.
Ordered a burger and chips.
Burger was tasty but on the small side. Chips came in a tiny paper cup and we're very salty.
Was an expensive burger for $22 ...

Wow. What a disappointment. We've been regulars at Eating House for a few years. Tonight we attended with some friends but I doubt if we will come again. An obvious downgrading of quality. A seriously dry undercooked paella garnished with coriander. A tough lamb salad. An overcooked chicken schnitzel with very little concasse sauce. The only meal enjoyed was the spicy chicken burger.
We were basically kicked out when we were told that the bar is closing and were presented with the bill - in the past they would allow us to sit until we were ready to ask for the bill. No wonder the patronage has been down the last two times we have been there. Previously it was always packed with people on a Saturday night.... what happened? Why the change?

You must start with Arancini balls, delicious! My husband raved about The Marinara and unanimously desserts were awesome, especially the donuts. We had the best night and service made the evening just so delightful. Often the difference between a good meal and a great one is the friendliness of the service and tonight everything just clicked for us and we can’t wait to return.

My wife and I booked dinner and were seated next to the main thoroughfare next to the serving area. The restaurant was busy. It soon became apparent that our meal was going to be ruined by uncontrolled children running up and down this thoroughfare. We requested to be moved and were given a quieter table. Within five minutes another elderly couple were seated at our old table and were promptly served their meals. They had barly started eating when they abondoned the table and moved to a quieter one. I know it's hard for managers to get parents to control their offsprings but perhaps the tables require rearranging.
Otherwise the food was excellent.

My partner and I went for some dinner and had one of the banquets. Everything was delicious, it came out quickly and the girl who served us was fantastic. We were really impressed!

If you're cruising up towards the Dandenong via Wellington Rd you will pass Wellington Village. This is where you will find Choco Bean.
Friendly staff and great coffee one of the best I've ever had. Breakfast took a little while to come but was very good.
