My wife and I enjoyed a great meal at the White Bull Tavern. The food was fresh, hot and plentiful. The menu has a wide selection to meet most diners preferences. A range of specials were also available and represented good value for money.

Explorer's Restaurant is a country type blend of soft pink walls, black faux leather high back chairs, dim lighting, multicoloured carpet and a well stocked bar.
The meals are restaurant prices with an entree costing in vicinity of $18 and main meal $35+
The wine list is limited and the waitress knew nothing about the wines.
The service was prompt for meals and wine but a bottle of water had to be requested three times.
The meals are nicely presented and tasty with salads, vegetables etc as optional extras.
As a place to eat out in Roma I think the restaurant is very good. In competition with other places in general I think it is average.

BISTRO 75 With its subdued lighting and French provincial themed decor, The Commonwealth Hotel's Bistro 75 offers a superb gastro pub menu for smart casual dining. Bistro 75 boasts a well-balanced seasonal menu, featuring local and Australian produce and an extensive wine list. Bistro 75 is renowned for several signature dishes: Twice Cooked Pork Belly, Fillet Mignon, Salmon Nicoise and Bistro 75's Sticky Date Pudding. Open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner, Bistro 75 also caters to the little people with a great Children's Menu. Bistro 75 is available exclusively for special events and can accommodate up to 90 guests seated and 120 standing.
Called in for lunch and a cool ale. Staff very obliging, ordered 2 fish and chips (3 pieces) with large tartare sauce.
Sat out in beer garden under a large sail shade, staff brought meals to table, very good for pub food and good value for money.

Presented to the restaurant early evening and ordered takeaway for 4 adults.
40 minutes later my order was presented to me.
10 minute drive to the dinner table. The food was hot - the containers were filled to capacity.
Disappointment started with the "special" fried rice - no flavour - then the beef dish - the chicken dish - the pork dish and the vegetable dish all tasted the same.
Whole experience disappointing as we do not buy take away often.

BC's Bar & Grill offers a modern Australian menu in a relaxing & friendly atmosphere. Our staff will always endeavour to make your meal & your dining experience exceed your expectations. We have a kids room to keep the little ones entertained while you sit back and relax, and enjoy your drinks and meals! Whether it's an anniversary, birthday, or simply just a meal away from home, BC's will look after you. Open from Monday to Saturday from 5:00pm in the bar, and 6:00pm for meals for dinner, and Tuesday to Friday from 6:30am for breakfast, BC's is happy to cater to all!
The hotel room was fabulous so our expectation was that their restaurant would be the same. Instead we found it overpriced, especially the wine. When meals are that expensive, one expects quality. A roast vegetable salad (entree) of a few pieces of pumpkin and half a dozen cherry tomatoes, a smattering of cheese and a bit of lettuce was a bit underwhelming. The curry was somewhat tasty, yet the portion was so little (for the price) we thought they'd given us an entree size.

The healthy alternative menu is certainly different and a pleasant surprise in Roma. I ordered takeaway frittata for breakfast with a green smoothie. It wasn't overly busy, but it did take a long time to be served, order and wait, so I suggest ordering ahead to avoid any wait.

Had a catch up dinner with friends which we do on a regular basis. Amanda and staff are great. Service from Barman Tom is the best in town by far. Before we sit down he has our drinks on the table and they are never empty. Best meals in town, you can never finish everything in your plate. The only place to go for special occasion.

I have dietary constraints and found it a little difficult ordering breakfast. I was informed that the chef's get annoyed if people order off the menu as sometimes people are trying to skimp out on price. I was requesting to order off the sides rather than a full meal, as I would be unable to eat most of what was served.
I assured the staff member I was more than happy to pay for my meal, but that I had dietary issues and was simply just trying to find options that I would be able to eat. The staff serving was very nice and even went to ask the chef if this would be acceptable to them.
In the end, they accommodated somewhat, but I did feel I was putting them out and it was a little uncomfortable. The table staff were very pleasant and friendly towards me though.
Perhaps some understanding from chef's and management that not everyone is trying to skimp on price. I can afford to pay for whatever I choose, I just need to be able to make those choices, believe me, I would prefer as much as the staff that I could just order a normal meal like I used to do.
All in all, it's a lovely venue with indoor and outdoor Seating. Very modern decor and a nice spot for a late breakfast.
