A unique restaurant full of character warmth and surprises wich mixes modern and traditional cooking. Situated in a spectacular surroundings with marvellous views. A place not to be missed.
Here in Andalusia there are many restaurants where you can find typical local food.
Well at Mulse you will find fresh fusion Andaluz food.
Nice experience with a great price. I always go for lunch and always ask for the menu of the day which costs only 10.50 euros.
Today for example I have got:
Pumpkin Soup
A vegetable and seabream wok
And yogurt and apple compote
Coke
A real ripper!

Visited here for both lunch and evening meal. Quite a small place and in high season it is better to book a table to guarantee a spot. Great menu, reasonably priced and lovely helpful staff. In a great spot would highly recommend to anyone.

On our last night in Rincon de la Victoria we found this and decided to give it a go, wish we'd found it earlier. It was a Saturday night and we hadn't booked but found a table inside for the 6 of us. We would have liked a table outside which looked really pretty but these were all booked. In hindsight we were probably better inside and we are all non-smokers.
The Dutch owner went through the menu for us.
We had a smashing meal and would go back if ever we were in the area again.
We all had 3 courses or a Bailey's instead of a pud plus wine and beers and total meal came to around €160. I had the steak and for me the sign of a good steak is a clean plate as I can't stand fat. I certainly polished it off as it was cooked just how I like it

Katogui has an entrance on the main street Avenida Mediterraneo, but walk through to the back and the restaurant is just yards away from the beach, so is really well located.
We had a Groupon offer – 2 starters, 2 main courses, 2 desserts and including a bottle of wine for just €29.95 for 2 people – so that’s just €15 per person – incredibly good value! The wine was a decent Greek red wine.
Firstly we had 5 small dishes of taramasalata, humus, tzatziki, melitzanosalata, greek yoghurt with pitta bread, almost a meal in itself!
Next we had 4 empanadas (2 each) and were given a choice of shrimp or cheese. We chose the shrimp.
For main course one chose the moussaka and the other chose the chicken empanada. Greek moussaka is normally made with lamb, but this was made with pork and also we did not associate empanadas (normally a south American dish) with Greece, so were not overwhelmed that this was authentic Greek cuisine. However, again at this price it was very good value.
To finish there was dessert of baklava (or instead you could choose coffee).

Service was fairly good but slow at the end. It seems that when customers speak some foreign language the waiting staff is afraid of them even if all communication has been in english. Food was good seafood. Busy place. We wondered why no one noticed us with our empty plates and empty glasses when people are waiting for a table

If you're accompanied by someone local, who'll do the translation and recommend dishes you will be fine, as attested by the crowds of Spanish diners. Our experience, with basic Spanish skills, was somewhat lacklustre, as there were misunderstandings with our order and we ended up eating not exactly, what we were expecting. Not awful, but not great. The waiters are task-oriented, not really forthcoming.

We went there twice, as we were renting in the vicinity. We had fish, which was very good, but what we found truly exceptional were the meats: a lamb brochette and a cerdo iberico sirloin. Crusty, juicy, with all the flavour expertly sealed within the flesh. Now, Rincon de la Victoria is not a holiday town for foreigners and we found some other restaurants in that area somewhat lacking in the service department. La Carreta has very kind and helpful waiters, the menu is available in English.

The choice was amazing and the quality first class. Rosey chose vanilla & bueno, Gill was very good and had lemon & coconut sorbetand I had dark chocolate & ferero roche.
Well worth the three euros for two scoops of deliciousness. Everything is made on the premises. Wonderful. Certainly an ice cream parlour to revisit.

Heladeria very artisans made in the same ice cream sundaes. Location overlooking the sea and a very careful design and attention. Try our ice cream Pistachio, Halva, Rice pudding, Loca, Condensed Milk, Chocolate, Strawberry, etc.
This was our favorite ice cream place we have visited by far. We have gone three times (so far!) and it is outstanding each time.
