We are regular visitors to Almara and in the past the food has been good and it's been a lovely day at the beach. This time the whole place was swarmed with wasps and the food was terrible. We ordered meat balls. It tasted like...MoreDear Wendy S, Thank you for your review. We dined here, the ambience of the restaurant is gorgeous, at night it's all candlelight and during the day you have the most gorgeous views over the bay. The service we received was exemplary, probably the best dining experience of our six week vacation. The fish was excellent, my tuna was perfectly cooked, as was my husbands John Dory

This is a new restaurant within the Port Montenegro Marina development
All experience in Tivat was great but special recognition deserves Al Posto Giusto. It's outstanding restaurant.
Every dish was sublime, deserving prize and will not forget how absolutely wonderful were people working there. Even though the place was non stop swamped by customers, waiters every time encouraged us to wait for a table. When we got back there another day for a dinner, different waiter brought for us exactly the same wine, we chose previously. When asked, how didi you know that? He answered- I remember what wine you ordered another night. If All waiters were more like nephews to us ( I travelled with my family) taking care with kindness and affection. All my family keeps fond memories of dining at Al Posto Giusto.

Restaurant ONE at the foot of Porto Montenegro's Jetty 1 was established in 2011 as a first restaurant in this super yacht marina. Six years in, it still holds the image of neighborly place that attracts yachties, expats and stylish people from all over the region. ONE offers a modern Adriatic menu prepared with international favorites you won't find elsewhere. The most expensive view in the country offers ideal setting for brunch, sunset drinks, or romantic dinners.
Walking on the pier in porto Montenegro we saw a very attractive restaurant named One and decided to give it a try. We started with the tuna carpaccio which was quite tasty and when the toasted bread arrived we thought that we had a winner. But unfortunately things sent down hill after that. My bream served with black rice was just average as the fish was smothered in a white cheesy sauce that completely masked the flavor of the fish and the black rice was somewhat sticky. My wife's said her leg of lamb was average at best, tender but the flavor of lamb lost in the accompanying sauce.

Visited after recommendations. A lovely setting overlooking the bay. Service was very good but we were disappointed with our food maybe we didn't choose well. My husband had pork in pastry which was a little undercooked and the meat was only just cooked which for pork is questionable. My sea bass fillets were beautiful but the grilled vegetables were only peppers which didn't really go, there were no potatoes.

Kind staff, tasty food at fair prices (two pizzas, two beers w/ two desserts around 22e), but the "forte" of the restaurant is definitely open Terrace - eating while watching over the bay is something you have to try during your stay in Tivat.
Also, our desserts (chocholate cake & souffle) were top of the notch.

It's like a rock 'n' roll. It would seem, nothing special. A couple of riffs, drum, foot, bass, and then the whole thing repeat. Of course, there is a wiggle of your hips and protruding tongue. Tongue is a miracle. We use it to speak, we use it to sing, we use it to kiss, and we use it when we eat. Finally, we use it to taste. That's what this is all about, taste. Nikola Kocalo, the owner of Papagaj , I met him when he showed me his first billboard. It was written : We will not work on July 9 because of The Rolling Stones` concert. Of course, this is not just about Stones. Protruding tongue may seem like a protest and rebellion. A matter of choice. I like to think that, this way we are in constant search for the flavor. New, interesting, special, beautiful, authentic ... not just when it comes to food. It is a way of thinking. Even Einstein was photographed like that. What does this have to do with the Papagaj? The Papagaj is just like that. The place, as well as rock 'n roll, that you experience and feel in your stomach, the food and the service, and the surrounding. There is the sea in the garden and the mountain in the back yard. There is an architect philosopher. There is a cook, who is a poet. Members of the staff are your friends and there are only regular customers. Because once you come, you will always come back and you will repeat like a parrot (papagaj): I like it! Prices in the Papagaj are the same throughout the year. There is no increase in prices during the season. The only thing you need for the Papagaj is to have a rich spirit. And you also need to understand that our motto is: No, to a bad taste! I remember my first visit to the Papagaj. There was only one free table. Good to have a cup of coffee, but inconvenient if you want to have breakfast. At that moment, a guest next to us got up and gallantly brought us - his table! Then he calmly, as if nothing had happened, returned to his seat and continued to read the newspaper. Popeye. Jimmy Barka . He is familiar with the sea and with the Papagaj. Guests always seek for additional table. But there is a place for everyone. Considering human life, nature, light, space, that Papagaj is just a nice restaurant. But as you listen to the shimmering sea in the dark and watch the stars spilled across the sky drinking wine with your friends you'll realize that in the Papagaj it is as well as in life . You do not need anything, and you can not too much. It's only Restaurant 'n' Lounge but I like it! See you at the Papagaj! Welcome to! Slavoljub Stanković a writer and a guest of the Papagaj
Time to write a review after two faultless dinners and breakfast for our group ranging between 13-18 pax.
The staff, food, wine list and location have been absolutely excellent.
We have been coming to Montenegro every summer for the past 5 years from Australia and Papagaj keeps getting better and better. The new menu is outstanding with a huge choice- I would highly recommend the Steak with Truffle sauce, tuba steak and for breakfast the Gold and Brown.
Thanks very much to the Papagaj team! See you next year.

We had one great afternoon at this restaurant. It has a nice Terrace with kiwi fruits hanging on top, the server was nice (the food came out slow, but totally worth the wait). The food was delicious and fresh. We had the mussels, fish pate, grilled squid and gnocchi with shrimp. After this real feast the bill came and it was very reasonable. We were in Tivat for only a day, but if we had stayed more, we would have definitely returned.

Premium natural ice cream and sorbets. Also serving coffees, teas, hot chocolate and freshly-squeezed lemonades
Best ice cream/sorbet/gelato in the world. I don't normally go for ice cream but this is out of this world. Unusual flavours that taste better than they sound/look - look amazing anyway. Great design of store as well. Please open many more around the world (currently only in Serbia, Montenegro and Chile).

This restaurant/bar/cafe is just across the road the water in Boka bay so it has lovely views, particularly from upstairs when it is open.
On our first visit it was sunny, busy and all open. Second time it was windy and cooler and upstairs was closed.
The food and drink is very good.
The locals all seem to smoke inside so if it's too cold outside...............
