Arbiana hotel is an enchanting place, oasis developed to offer the warmest welcome ... the attention to detail and ingenuity of architectural solutions within the warmth of the atmosphere created by the hospitality and jovial professionalism of the host, will satisfy the expectations of the most demanding guest with the finest taste. The primary goal of the owners was to create a romantic and leisure atmosphere, a little paradise for lovers and gourmet travellers. Hotel's restaurant Agatha's Gardens, with it's romantic atmosphere and unique menu, serves truly enjoyable meals: Mediterranean inspired delicacies from the island - aesthetically pleasing to the eye and pure pleasure for the body and soul.
We had an amazing dinner here and decided to return the next night. Our first meal was eight different items ordered from the standard menu and each item was unique and delicious. The garden is a beautiful setting for dining and the service is impeccable. Our impression was that it was by far the best restaurant in Rab city.
The second night, in response to a very enthusiastic sales pitch from the waiter, we ordered a baked fish to be shared by the two of us. It was a John Dory (kovac) which was large but that is a fish that has a large head so less than half is edible. It was dry and a bit chewy, either not fresh or overlooked. Shame on us for not asking the cost in advance. When the bill came, the charge for the fish alone was 918 kuna, $140!!! The most overpriced fish dish In the world perhaps?

We went there because of good reviews on TA and we got all we expected and more. The food was excellent - we had "Rapska grota" (stuffed steak) and grilled hake. Meat was tender and wonderfully prepared and fish was absolutely fresh. Their house white is žlahtina, which is pretty good. We also had Rabska torta for dessert. The price was very reasonable and the service was good.

You can hike or you can drive up to this hotel or little restaurant with taxi. (Or to ask for restaurant to call taxi up for you!;)
Many was hiking up on ~ 450 meter montain, and what could be the best to drink some cold refreshment or to eat after hiking!
View is brilliant!

Restaurant is partly hidden in a side street, not far from Imperial Hotel in the city Rab. You have two levels inside. Upper is more intimate, lower is bigger. Mediterranean food, connected with fish and other fresh sea animals is really good, prepared with care and taste. You can order simple dishes or get a five or even more courses with different combinations. No complaints. You just need a lot of time to enjoy. They serve good wine, too. Don't order just pizza. This is place for something better.

Great little place with tables only outside. The port is just a few meters away so nice view on the boats you've got. We tried it once and than became "regulars" for that week. Tasty food, reasonable prices and good service.
If you would go for dinner at the "high-season" its probably best to reserve a table. We had always been lucky but saw not once line of ppl waiting outside.

We had a great dinner there, seems to be a family run restaurant which leads to very good service. We had fish, the waiter offered us the possibility to choose the fish that we wand to be cooked for us. Quiet atmosphere, they have two terraces with plants and view around, but there is also the possibility to eat inside.

We had a light lunch 3 times during our week stay in hotel Carolina. Spaghetti carbonara were quite good, also the salad Gozinka was fine. The service was fast and the prices were rather high, but pretty much the same as in this sort of seaside restaurants during the peak season.

We ate there for lunch. They served bread with some sauces when we were waiting for the main meal. We are delicious and abundant portions of grilled fishes with tasty side dishes included in the meal. They offered us traditional spirit after lunch. Prices are good.Relation quality/ food very high.

If your idea for a good meal is low quality frozen ingredients, including the canned and frozen vegetables, this is your place. If you'd like anything fresh or tasty you'll be hard pressed to find it here. Nice attentive service but bad presentation of foods and below average quality and taste. A big disappointment for us.
