This restaurant is the same owner as Dragon Vert and Domaine Anna. The setup is a bit higher end than Dragon Vert. The food is normally excellent. The snacks are value for money. Do not hesitate to ask for help from the waiters, specially the old type majordome!
You can order the "riz King" with "chatini pomme d'amour" with an assortment of other plates to please your taste-buds.

I've beh here several times with Indian colleagues and we always had very good food.
Prices are reasonable and there is a good menu choices also for vegetarians.
It's a humble environment, traditional, even old in a certain sense but clean and with reasonable prices.
The restaurant doesn't look nice from outside and it's not easy to find but everyone knows it.
Leave your car nearby or ask the taxi driver to wait outside as it's not nice to walk in Quatre Bornes at night, probably the worst place in delicious Mauritius island.

Opened only from Monday to Friday for lunches only. Give us a phone call for availibility. A Creole traditional restaurant in Mauritius, a unique know-how .... Between the famous Rougaille Creole sausage, cang mocked cabbage and salted fish, traditional curry chicken creole, or broth 'zourite and coconut chutney' Escale Creole remains the TABLE where you and your guests can make the unique experience of a "real Manze Lacaze" , hearty and generous !!! In a large veranda, we can serve between 2 and 50 seats on large tables with traditional gingham tablecloths. Our "table d'hote" allows each client to help himself laid flat on the table well Mauritian way, so that everyone is free to be reserved if desired
We stumbled upon this restaurant when we went to Eureka museum, and we're glad we did. The hostess was so friendly and welcoming. Their style of serving food gives you the opportunity to sample all the great Mauritian dishes. We will come back before we leave the island for sure.

We were recommended of this place by one of our friends and we were not disappointed with the service. We had the pancakes with drinks. They were beautifully presented and tasted as good as expected. The cakes on display were beautiful and looked very tasty but unfortunately we did buy any, perhaps on our next visit Mauritius.
On the whole, a great place to relax, plenty of choices from the menu or you can have a cake and coffee. Very relaxing.

Each time we have visited this Chinese restaurant,we have never been disappointed. A wide variety of Chinese dishes are offered and very often we are spoilt for choice. The chicken fried rice is very popular but I am certain other diners would opt out for other choices such as mifoon frite and Bol Devire. The service can be slow specially on a busy day due to its popularity with the locals and visitors alike. It is always best to book otherwise you may be disappointed. Alcohol and soft drinks can be purchased at a very price. You can take your own drinks as long as you are prepared to pay a cork charge for a couple of pounds. Great place for eating out with family. Nice people.
