This is the alternative restaurant which offers seafood at half the price of the food in Taaras Resort which is located nearby (5-10min walk) in Teluk Dalam as the location here is far away from Pasir Panjang where all the other resorts are.
Gotta try the ikan bakar (grill fish)
The price for my dinner for 2 which includes one ikan bakar (grilled fish), fried squid, chicken & satay (marinated skewered chicken) is around RM75
Some of the staffs there are able to converse in basic English so there is no issue for non-Malay speaker there.
There is a mini convenience store located at the back which sells snack, drinks & basic toiletries.
Basically this restaurant is the alternative choice for guests at Taaras who wish to have an affordable meal as the food within the resort is quite expensive in Redang Island

Stunning location for a beach bar and pizza. Cocktails, beer and a good selection of wines to choose from, and the pizza is made right in front of you.

The staff could not have been more helpful. The pizza and the chicken wraps were good and the cocktails to die for. Glad this place is for Resort guests only

We were looking for a place to have super late lunch and Asmadi is the only available restaurant near Taaras.
The location is a 10 mins walk from Taaras. Just go straight from Taaras main entrance until you see the Klinik Kesihatan signboard...it's on the right, after Hazeme Seafood Restaurant. You can ask Taaras to send u there.
The food is good and the price is affordable. Would definitely recommend to go.

For redang this small treat is very reasonably priced for great tasting malay food - far exceeds to the hotel buffets which are most popular in the island. Right on the beach front - the setting adds to the atmosphere.
Unfortunately the map location is wrong but if you search the hotel you will find it on the beach round by Laguna hotel.
Highly recommended for those who want a break from the hotels!
