Restaurant closed every 2nd and 16th of the month.
Visited as a family of eleven after finding the place on TripAdvisor, we hadn't booked. Staff very accommodating, brought out an extra table to add to another to fit us, happy to split our bill three ways.
Unlike a previous reviewer we found the staff to be very friendly, not in the slightest bit 'snooty', very polite, no issues at all.
Our food came out in good time, in the right order in regards starters and mains, and was mostly all fantastic.
I say mostly only because my husband's steak wasn't cooked how he had asked. (of the four steaks ordered by our table, the other three were perfect and delicious). He didn't actually raise this as a problem, because it wasn't a big deal and he didn't want yo cause a fuss since they were clearly very busy, but the owner noticed it was uneaten and rectified the issue without having been asked. You can't say better than that for good service!
The restaurant is across the road from the beach, a great little place in a lovely location and I would say definitely lives up yo it's name. We tried to book a table for the last night of our stay, but sadly they're closed that day, so we'll probably stop by for lunch at some point between now and then. Couldn't fault the place.

Since more than 15 years Sing has a small bar on the beach next to the Evason and Sheraton Villas Resorts. Besides delicious and reasonably priced drinks (homemade cocktails), he also offers a good restaurant with a wide selection of Thai and Western food. Motobikes and ATV (quads) can be rented with him just as fast and reliable as taxis to Hua Hin or Bangkok, as well as tours and excursions in the surrounding area.
Great welcome and friendly service The fantastic mr Sing picks you up in his truck and gives you a lift back to the hotel! Food is ok, but friendly people makes it worth a visit!Thank you very much for your friendly review, please come again

we went there twice as we discovered this was the best place for traditional Thai food for cheap in a relatively nice setting (outside on a Terrace instead of a shack:)).
we tried different dishes and they were all fresh (made to order) and with great taste.
we ate for roughly 15£ for 2 people
lovely service.
not great level of english but they get by.

Great Coffee, Tea and Cake selection + free internet. The staff are very friendly, the environment is laid back, Jazz or Reggae on the speakers. The views are spectacular and a cooling ocean breeze keeps things nice and comfortable. My goto place to chill in Pak Nam.

We visited the restaurant for a quick bite and some drinks.
We'd already had lunch but just wanted to sit and chill at the restaurant.
The French fries were soggy with oil, brownies seemed stale and the drinks overpriced. We also bought some cookies from the bakery. Not very nice - average.
Service was fine at the restaurant but when we went to pay downstairs and asked for the spa services, the receptionist was quite condescending and did not want to talk much.
We got the feeling it was because we were not white!!! I asked for the copy of the check as it was not a Micros check. They were totalling the items manually and I just wanted to make sure it was correct. I got a huge dirty look!!! Not sure why??
One does come across this in a few places in Thailand. But it's fine as we've spent almost 5 years in Thailand and have had a lovely time!! Most people are awesome and this was a one off experience for us.
In any case we will not be back.

Well, what can we say? After the reports on TA we were looking forward to calling in here. It's an interesting place filled with lots of old artefacts.
The cappuccino was good, the Brownie OK - but the few plates of Thai food that we ordered were really poor. Bland, flavourless, and small portions.
I wouldn't recommend you take a trip especially to visit - but if you're in the area and just looking for a coffee - then you should call in. If you're looking for something more substantial - I'd recommend going elsewhere.

Savor every meal at Dalah, our signature restaurant and bar, where an all-day menu of international and local cuisine unites with tropical Gardens and lotus pond, visible through the open-air dining pavilion and two private dining pavilions.
We had breakfast at this venue daily, on our last night we had dinner there too. We would have preferred to dine in the Sheratons other restaurant but that was taken by a Lexus Corporate event.
The menu at Dalah is extensive and somewhat more expensive than necessary. On the occasion we were there my starter was served, and by the time my wifes starter arrived mine was cold.
Our main courses were served together. I had the butter chicken which was delicious, but the naan bread with so crisp it fell apart, and was effectively inedible. My wife had black cod and chips, it looked nice, but the batter on the fish was not particularly pleasant.
For the cost we were not impressed. There was only one other table occupied and they sent their meal back to the kitchen.
A very average meal.

There are so many excellent restaurants in Pak nam pran, but after two weeks of vacation there is always that one restaurant...you should avoid. After two hours waiting for our food (mostly plain pizza and microwaved lasagna) we couldn't get into our tuk-tuk fast enough to go home and forget about the evening.
Lesson learned,- no need to try Italian food while in Thailand.
