Pláka (Greek: Πλάκα) is the old historical neighborhood of Athens, clustered around the northern and eastern slopes of the Acropolis, and incorporating labyrinthine streets and neoclassical architecture. Plaka is built on top of the residential areas of the ancient town of Athens. It is known as the "Neighborhood of the Gods" due to its proximity to the Acropolis and its many archaeological sites.

Our first night in Naxos, staying at the Nissaki Beach Hotel, we decided to try their restaurant right on the beach. Wonderful ambiance looking out at the bay, accompanied by a relaxing, very enjoyable meal. The chicken filet was delicious and the tuna steak was a large portion. Service was friendly and attentive. The Greek wine was excellent, of course!

The location is very nice with table on the beach and sound of waves in background. The service is OK and the food is traditional solid greek tradition of average quality with acceptable prices. The souvlaky is good while the moussaka is a block of yellow substance on a thin layer of aubergines. The main problem is that the food comes invariably cold on the table so even if the taste is good it detract from the pleasure.

We had dinner here one evening while staying in nearby Agia Anna.
Restaurant was busy. Food was fine but it wasn't a very relaxing experience.
There seemed to be numerous staff running about and a lot of shouting going on in the kitchen area but the whole operation seemed rather disorganised.
We ordered coffee and the waiter returned three times to confirm what we had ordered. Then another member of staff brought it to the table and it was wrong!
Didn't return again as got better service and a more relaxing time elsewhere

We tried several of the local beach-side restaurants during our stay in Plaka and the food at Voula was definitely the best. Their keftedes (fried meat balls) were really delicious!

A wonderful place near by the sea, where you can taste a menu with traditional Hellenic gyros, Thessalonians kebab, roasted chicken fillet, roasted chicken bacon, Naxos’s lamp chops, fresh salads, Hellenic appetizers, Naxos’s gruyere cheese dishes and the famous Naxos' potatoes.
What a fantastic place right across the road from the beach with a fantastic sea view and cool breeze. Clean friendly staff excellent service. Cheap eats chicken gyro with Naxian potato chips inside taste terrific. Perfect place to lunch after laying on the nearby sun lounges.

Ginger was adventurous from its start in 2015. The owners of this new venture offered dishes from a broad range of cuisines. It quickly became known for generous portions of interesting food, superbly cooked. When dining it pays to keep one eye on the specials, since they are there for a reason and the other evening these included grilled octopus which we had as a memorable appetiser for the.huge lamb shanks, which had a delicious sauce with a hint of stifado flavours, also from the specials list.
