The project of this trattoria was born with the intent to showcase the beautiful and the good of Umbria valorizing the territory in its complexity: with the support of the Municipality of Perugia, of the Academy of Fine Arts “Pietro Vannucci”, of the University of Flavors, of the Associazione Italiana Sommelier and the Academy of Umbria countryside herbs, as well as dozens of private Companies that have embraced the project. From the hand-sewn linen placemats to furnishing details with ceramics from the four areas of excellence, from the great extra virgin olive oils from 5 sub-zones of the PDO to the plants of the garden ... everything has been designed to offer an experience connected with traditions and the quality of life that Umbria offers. Among the peculiarities is the creation of an application that allows you to know the history of typical products, the Panorama of the production companies, things to do and see in cities and Umbria. Excellence in food and wine, in artisan, artistic and cultural heritage while staying in an affordable price range.

Our Restaurant proposes a rich menu and abundant dishes influenced by traditional Umbrian cuisine. Fresh homemade pasta, meat bought from farmers in the area or raised directly by us, vegetables grown on our land and numerous sweets. Our Chefs never get tired to propose traditional recipes passed down to them from their grandmothers, in a modern presentation, where tradition meets passion. For this reason, our dishes are rich with love and are meant to intensify the flavors so that you will surely have a unique culinary experience! You will be able to choose from the à la carte menu or a tasting one- in either case, you could accompany your meal with a good Umbrian or national wine chosen from our wine cellar, or try a good Umbrian beer. In the warmer seasons, you will be able to eat outdoors, under the stars, and take in the magnificent landscape that nature offers. Our aim is not only offering you a special tasting experience, but also to make you feel at home. For this reason, if you have any food intolerance or special requests, we are ready and willing to satisfy your needs, as will the kitchen be available to you for the preparation of meals for your little ones.

Il ristorante Ripa Relais nasce dal recupero di un antico casale caratterizzato da archi in mattoni e travi in legno, oggi trasformato in un ambiente caldo ed accogliente dove lasciarsi coccolare. I sapori della tradizione umbra vengono sapientemente recuperati e reinterpretati, con l’attenzione e la premura che solo un padrone di casa può avere. Gli Chef rinnovano periodicamente il menù, ispirandosi alle stagioni e utilizzando prodotti provenienti dalla nostra azienda e da produttori locali, come la Chianina IGP.

"Il Caldaro" is a charming restaurant. The chefs create original, as well as centuries old local Umbrian recipes, using the finest fresh ingredients. This also includes handmade pizza cooked in wood pizza oven.

Borgomela Restaurant is THE PROJECT OF A FAMILY is the place where the pleasure of good traditional eating meets the warm and friendly atmosphere of home. The dishes are characterized by the use of simple high quality ingredients, following seasonal pattern to better meet the criteria of freshness and genuineness'. Particular attention should be paid on pasta, bread and desserts, all homemade. The "pasta first dishes" reminiscent of the forgotten flavors that so characterize the regional cuisine, poor but very rich and tasty in its flavors. In main dishes alternate roasts, grilled meat selected from the territory. The Borgomela menu also includes a selection of cheeses and sliced meats "affettati" served on special boards that favor the tasting. The wine list mainly includes wine labels wineries in Umbria. And 'Reservations are preferable, like true landlord, we want to our guests to have the best experience ever.
