We agree with the previous reviews. Lovely hotel apt for a night's stop over and designed for lounging. Hence unless you have sighseeing plans, love lounging by the pool, exploring the grounds, socialising with the staff and have loads of books, iPod/iPad or your own DVDs to keep you entertained on your stay, there is nothing much to do or to entertain you on you stay there if longer then a night.
The room was decorated smartly with the bare minimum, there isn't a TV nor radio, phone (to contact reception) and the bathroom window is not totally opaque, so anyone passing can see you. If you need something from reception, you can't call, you would have to go down to reception to speak to someone.
The outdoor area and surroundings are lovely, stunning views, however the food does not live up to it's surroundings, very disappointing. The menu is limited (no fish or veg option), unimaginative, dull looking on the plate, not fresh, over cooked, extra suppliment for something not worth the suppliment and over priced! Not worth eating there, go out for your meals if you can! The breakfast is standard - bread/pastry, butter, jam, coffee/tea, juice and yogurt, no local speciality. Our Riad in Marrakech was a 1000x better and served beautiful food.

We were in Marrakesh and took a trip to Atlas Mountains, but due to some road works ended up in the Restaurant. Seemed true peace and tranquillity.
We had a table next to the pool with great view of the Mountains. The food was fabulous.
Make sure you dont let the Taxi driver order in advance but you go and order yourself.
Wait for the food and enjoy the surroundings

We stayed in Dar Imlil a few days but wanted to see this place so phoned to ask about supper. Despite it being last minute, Ramadan and now end of season we were welcomed and had a fabulous dinner on the Terrace as sun fell. It's a 15 min hike up and down (iPhone torch comes in handy on return). We packed a bottle of bubbly to complete the evening! The food was a set menu soup, fresh bread, chicken dish served with rice and home made fries, delicious baked apple. All cooked today perfection. It cost a fraction of our fine dining experience in marakesh (440 MAD for 3 courses plus coffee two adults and our 3 yr old) and is pricey in comparison to locals however you totally gets what you pay for!
In summary if you stay Imlil take a meal here!

We came across this restaurant whilst staying at a hotel 5 minutes away. The restaurant is newly opened, has outdoor Seating and a traditional Berber tent for shade. The food we ate was fantastic. Some of the best meals we have had on our many trips to Morocco. The chef previously worked as a chef in a local restaurant and serves a variety of Moroccan dishes. The ingredients are picked from the garden wherever possible and the prices are extremely reasonable - £3-5 for a main meal, less than a pound for drinks. Ideal for lunch and dinner

We stopped in for a late lunch on our arrival in Ouirgane. The host was super kind and made haste to serve us a tajine - since we were late, that was all they had to serve us, but we had no complaints at all. Tasty and piping hot, it hit the spot. The price was right, too.
