A 24 hour stay. Tried their Surprise menu with wines. Excellent excellent.
Outstanding service and quality for money. Very nice and large rooms. Great beds.
Can only recommend for all to try.
1 of the 7 best wine cellars in Denmark according to Wine Spectators. And it's true.

The food is excellent, "interesting setting": You sit in a tent overlooking the sea in a storm! But it is heated.
However its absolutely not fair on staff (or guest) to let a young girl loose as server, when she obviously recieved absolutely NO TRAINING in either the menu nor the way you serve food, and clear tables.

If you like your stjerneskud simple and fresh, this is the place to go. White fish, breaded fish, some shrimps, some dressing and salad, large pieces of white asparagus on white toast. You sit on comfortable outdoor "sofas" of bolted-together wooden pallets as you watch boats sail by. Life is good.
The only drawback - there is a very limited selection of wines. But one should have a beer with stjerneskud anyway. Life is still good as you enjoy the summer sun tempered by the cool breeze.

A good restaurant is always busy. Although the staff is really giving their best you just have to have a little bit of patience. It is worth it! Prices are surly not too high. Really a place to go to in Odder

Hungry and eager to find somewhere for an early evening meal, we happened to pass Bondehuset. It didn't look particularly special, but it was tastefully decorated, busy, the waitress/owner was very friendly (but spoke no English - no criticism there, as I speak no Danish!), we managed to work out the Danish-only menu, and the prices looked reasonable. We had the plaice (three fillets!) stuffed with prawns, and the wienerschnitzel. Both were absolutely superb and the portions were extremely generous. We would wholeheartedly recommend!

I really enjoyed my salmon&prawns patty shell (tartelet), and my family really enjoyed their traditional ones, with chicken&white aspargus. The puff pastry was light and delicious, absolutely nothing to do with anything you've tried from a store.
I do not recommend their hot dogs (“Varme hunde”) though. The dough was dull, and to be honest, we felt cheated with that dish. It looked huge in the picture, but then it looked more like a lizzard than a "dog" when we ordered it. It was seriously small. Cute concept, but not worth 55 DKK at all.
The desserts are quite filling. Their citronfromage is better than their chocolate mousse, and it is also a very traditional Danish dish.
We appreciated that they were nice and attentive despite the fact that they were understaffed and therefore got quite busy.
I won't post too many pictures of the place because I think that visitors should have the opportunity to discover it themselves, just like I did.
The idea of giving free tickets to their krolf field when you purchase "tartaletter+dessert" is brilliant. We had so much fun.

This is a very small town and this might be the best restraint in town, but... it is very average.
The ambience is good, good cleanliness good service from the waiter. After talking to the waiter it became clear that it is not routine that they taste the food and the wine.
I had the 4 small slices of beef and salad on top for starter and a mixed fish plate for main. The food was average and the chefs did not manage to get anything special out of the raw materials. It would be slightly better than eating at home.
They have and extraordinary good selection of rum (to go with the coffee).
Would I visit again? No it is to average. I would recommend Malling Kro or Fru Møllers Mølleri.
I paid about 450 DKK for one person....... not cheap.

We had a very nice dinner at Møllegården. We got prawn salad as starter, veal, fish of the day (haddock) and pork for mains and local strawberries (from the island) with ice cream and cheese for dessert. Everything very beautiful arranged and tasteful. Limited but good wine selection as well.
Combined with good service and beautiful sea views from the Terrace made this a good experience.
First time visit to Møllegården despite of us living close to, but definitely not the last time.
Best regards

Been here several times, as it is close to the summer house area along the Beaches south of Aarhus. Always good italian food and you don't walk hungry away from this place. Typical italian restaurant, can't go wrong when you bring the children.

If you ever happen to find yourself in the small town of Odder and happen to find yourself hungry – you must try this place. The food is possibly the most genuine Thai food you can find in the area (it is by no means numbed down for a mile palette, unless you ask) and the prices are phenomenal when you compare it with prices in Aarhus.
The setup is designed more to take away then dine in, and you can see this from the appeal of the restaurant, but the owners have made a provision if you want to enjoy your food there and its clean, comfortable and friendly
.
I order from this place more than I should and if you read my other reviews you will see that I have eaten pretty much around the world but always come here at least once a fortnight.
Treat yourself, call ahead, order and pick up in 30 minutes!
Great family run place.
