This restaurant was recommended to me because I love good grilled meat, a nice ambience, and great service. Restaurant Baschi, nestled against the slope next to the Furkastrasse meets all of these requirements. The service was great - the chef even came out to greet us and ask how our food was, the restaurant itself is stylish, but simple, and clean, and the food is out of this world. Call ahead to reserve - when we were there every table had a 'reserved' sign and the place filled up quickly. I don't recall how much we paid, but the money was well spent and we felt that we got more than our money's worth.

We were fortunate enough to enjoy lunch on the Terrace with full sun. I had their type of pizza with onions, olives and cream cheese with a crust that is flakey... delicious. My husband had sausage and sauerkraut that he said it was wonderful. They serve Swiss beer on draft which was also great. The young ladies that serve were very pleasant and accommodating. The views from the Terrace are breathtaking!

Located a few KMs from the Grimselpass is this little gem of a restaurant, over looking a dam and a glacier. We had the Gursten soup and the Berner Rosti with bacon and egg! Perfect

Hidden in a solitary corner at the border between Italy and Switzerland lays a small valley. Known only to a handful of passionate cross-country skiers. And right in the middle of the valley is Walser Schtuba, traditional architecture and local ingredients combined with an excellent chef and welcoming rooms.

Restaurant with the best specialties 'of Italian cuisine, typical dishes of the mountain, many specialties' VEGAN, vegetarian and pizza non-stop (from 11 to 22). Dining rooms cozy, warm and with the atmosphere of a traditional mountain chalet. Terrace restaurant with wonderful Panorama.Ideale for romantic dinners by candlelight, for banquets, weddings, and corporate seminars.
After cycling 95 km we were a bit disappointed with the portions...
The fondue was very small...and we had to order a pizza so as not to go to bed hungry...

We enjoyed this restaurant. The food was creative and delicious. I was able to choose from several vegetarian options (other than the usual swiss cheese-based fare), and my husband enjoyed his pan-roasted beef. We especially enjoyed the interesting flavors of home-made ice cream. We were only disappointed they closed for Christmas and we couldn't go back the next day!

Das kleine, aber feine Golfrestaurant ist ein Geheimtipp. Vor allem die Yack-Steaks sind ein Traum. Ebenfalls Spitze ist die Weinkarte, gross und sehr genussvoll zu vernünftigen Preisen

The first class Thai cuisine available in this hotel restaurant provides a welcome change from the traditional hearty Alpine fare available elsewhere. Try the delicious soup starters: highly recommended.

A good kitchen, excellent wines and attentive service! Some very nice traditional dishes (e.g. Wiener Schnitzel), excellently prepared, with good starters and Deserts. The staff are friendly and efficient, both in the restaurant and in the hotel. Many thanks to Mrs Weger and her team! We shall undoubtedly return.
