we have been visiting here for many years and it has constantly been excellent, such great sea food, with large yummy portions,a busy location, so worth to reserve a table. such hard working two waiters that glide effortlessly between the tables, can't be surpassed !

Great in the morning for good coffee, fresh orange juice and a croissant. Great in the afternoon and early evening for an aperitif. Lovely relaxing sea views at any time. Cooled by the sea breeze and very comfortable. Good selection of drinks. The waiters are very attentive and polite. Great pit stop. Prime location in Novigrad.

with tables right on the waters edge the location of this restaurant is perfect. The menu is very typical for the area; pizza, pasta, grilled meats and fish, fish platters, fried seafood etc etc. Service was very friendly and we all enjoyed our meals. this is a greta spot for a casual lunch, definitely worth a visit.

So! We reserved our booking, and arrived on time. The person who seemed to be in charge greeted us. I gave her my name and informed her that we had reserved a table. The young lady made us feel foolish for being so detailed and...MoreThanks and hawe nice day wherever you are!!!

We have found this restaurant thanks to TripAdvisor. We have had a rented appartment very nearby and we did not know there was such a good restaurant in close vicinity. You know there are no signs, no advertising, nothing! The restaurant itself is well hidden beyond other houses in narrow street on the very edge of Dajla.
But there is probably no need for any advertising. The restaurant is probably well known, even famous. We came there and we got the last but one table. Without the epic sea view sadly. The food weighted this disadvantage out. The restaurant is focused on seafood and mediterranean cuisine. So the seafood we ordered. And risotto with prawns. My plate-full-of-sea-epicness (scampi, calamari, prawns) was delicious. And well worth the price (130kuna I guess). It was a pile of food! And very good one! Also the risotto was real deal. This way it should be prepared, the etalon of risotto :-)
The food even outweighted that the service was not the quickest (OK, the restaurant was full) and they brought us spaghetti instead of risotto for the start... Even the masters sometimes do mistakes ;-)
All an all the restaurant is worth visiting even if you are not exactly in Dajla. Do the homework, find the way (ask in Dajla's Riva market/pizzeria, or Google shows the position well if you try to find Belveder Dajla restaurant) and enjoy the deliciousness and superb view!
Highly recommended!

Marina is not a typical fish restaurant with grilled fish and calamari but the place where you will find a cuisine d' auteur. Our philosphy is to get the best out of the ingredients (fish) we can!
Restaurant is lovely and not to big. We had a lunch at non busy time and everything was just perfect. Fresh sea food prepared on inovative way, beautifully presented and paired with excellent wines. On top of that price is very reasonable i.e 90 eur for 6 course tasting menu accompanied with 6 paired wine glasses. Will definitely come again when in area.

Have been here at least ten times. In the last year the food is somehow still ok, but the service has gotten terrible. Very unfriendly waiters. I have experienced their arrogance many times, but because of convenient location have continued coming. However, never again.
Do not come, if you want to feel like a valued costumer...

Wine bar offering traditional istrian wines, local food and olive oil. Verieties of brandys, schnaps and aperitifs for you to try and buy.
This kind of restaurant is what gives soul to the town.
It is simple and small yet very traditionally furbished. Offer nice variety of local wines, spirits and food.
Staff was extremely friendly and took the time to talk to us about local things going on.
As it was late in the evening we just took selection of appartisers (local goat cheese, local prosciutto, fish patte (bakalar) and anchovies with olives. Everything fresh and super tasty.
Definitely to go and try. And it is still reasonably priced. Highly recommended!

We were on vacation in mid-July, and we have been to this beautiful tavern that is located just above the coast with beautiful view. Firstly, I found very friendly staff and the other food that is more than excellent and excellent, this is a restaurant for every suggestion!

We had a dinner here but it was quite disappointing. I can get over a long wait because there is a lot of people in the restaurant and average service but for those kind of prices and location... I expected much bigger fish plate for 2. Some things on plate were warm (not hot enough) but the fishes tasted very good. I also expected more seafood on the plate. Much more if I compare this plate to ones I had in other places. For dessert we had their Amfora pancakes with vanilla ice cream and cherries and they were good. Nothing here was outstanding so I was a bit sorry we picked this place. Mistake we will not do again.
