Nice Taverna just of the motorway between Zilina and Bratislavia, had a short lunch brake and did find the Taverna Rio, few minuts away from the motorway. Nice building with outdoor seeting as well. Staff very fast and friendly and informed well about the large menucard. Had a soup and hot meal , food came quickly it was hot and in good portions. Tasted very well and prices were very much ok. Will dine here again and can recomend the Taverna for both business and holiday.

The location is exceptional. I stayed here twice already. First time, I had room facing the beautiful Beckov castle. The room was really nice and spacious.
Second time, I was lucky to stay in the wedding suite. Beautiful room with lots of space, the bathroom is on a smaller side, but the view is to die for.
The staff is superb!
Breakfast is very simple and they could do a bit more to improve it. The food in the restaurant is OK.
I just booked another weekend!

Sunny, little cofeeshop in the park. Close to playground. In the summer, sunny sping/autumn there is always full especially on Terrace. Coffee is fine, nothing special, but for small city like Nove Mesto it is better standard. There is also little free library in front of the Terrace and for free you can take/borrow some book. Only one cons is maybe open hours, sometimes during summer 22:00 is just too soon to close.

Best pizza I ever had. Its baked on oak wood and ready in very few minutes. We were surprised how quick it was on the plate and more surprised after we ate it in less than 10 minutes! Took one home after. Friendly staff and true village atmosphere here. Highly recommend.

Well, this is the best what you can find in Nove Mesto and trust me, this is no the main advantage of the pub.
Thay fell aspleep in beer choice, and ventilation, where the pub is mostly smoking area. In a time, where every better beer bar (especialy named after honourable beer nation) is serving at least several beers if not their owen, here you can find max 3 types...if you are lucky.
The food on the other hand is fine. I can say that pizza from new wooden grill is good, and last time I tried their burgers from grill and are OK as a snack.
If you are accidentaly in Nove Mesto this is probably the best (and only) place where to go evening with friends.

Nové Mesto nad Vahom is poor for good bars, restaurants etc. But I think that this bar is the best. I think that in a small towns- may be villages, at Slovakia are only Kolibas- Koliba, Koliba is everywhere, but Nové Mesto nad Váhom "black hole" has better bar than Trenčín or Žilina... "Small light in a dark..."

Najlepsi pstruh, akeho som kedy jedol. Sympaticka obsluha, super prostredie hned pri vode. 18 eur za 2x pstruh, chlieb, kofola, nealkoholicke pivo.

I should start with prising the interior, it really had style. Waiters were fast. However the need to ask for a key to the toilet... seemed a bit like we stopped at the gas station (the city is empty so whom are they protecting it from I had no idea). Also we asked for carafe of water with lemon. Got three bottles of sparkling water. The food was tasty though. Maybe we should have stayed for some dessert to see what´s coming next :-)

Využívame služby tejto reštaurácie často a radi. Dobrá poloha, bezproblémové parkovanie a chutná strava. Romantická večera, rodinné posedenie, obchodné rokovanie ..... štýlový interiér len umocní dobrý pocit z posedenia, určite doporučujem......

Egyptians had theirs pyramids, Greeks olympic games, Romans collosseums and aquadcts. We have local burgers. Everywhere you go, there must by kind of hipster-style local burger shop, with local meet, and good ingredients. Finally it came to Nove Mesto.
Richie's burgers are really good, for excelent small-town price with a lot of options and alternatives. Definitely there is no better place to eat for late dinner!
The place has just one disadvantage - it's localization. Could be in city centre, and make som real commuity around. In this way its more like - you come, you eat, you leave, without any further activities. Pity.
Price for burger cca 5-8€.
