We had schnitzels, mine with mushrooms and my wife with cheese. Both were excellent (my wife's tastier) well presented and promptly served (we would have liked more potatoes). The service (a nice young German boy) was friendly, polite and helpful. Our table by the window was nice, the view is nothing extraordinary but we enjoyed watching people. The ambiance was warm and pleasant. The new owner is keeping with tradition, is very friendly, helpful and approachable and makes sure that you are having a good time, although his singing is somehow questionable. :D We visited the place years ago and we were not impressed. Now it is much better and we will return. Prices are standard, piano was good. Overall : Yes! Recommendable! Keep up the good work!

A fixture in Vancouver's North Shore since 1993, Mythos Taverna is a favourite dining destination for Vancouverites. In the summer, our patio emulates lively nights out in Kalamata, while our interior is reminiscent of cozy Greek countryside homes in the winter. We invite you to share in this authenticity by trying our homemade recipes like the Roast Lamb Dinner or our homemade dips and desserts. Perfect for that special occasions or even for last minute meal, you can rely on Mythos for a flavorful and authentic dining experience.

After a lag of several decades, we came up here again during Dine Out Vancouver on a rainy evening, celebrating my wife's birthday. We are always a bit leery of view restaurants as often the fact that there is a view overshadows the quality of the food. Definitely wrong in this case! I cannot speak for the regular menu, but the special 3-course menu created for DOV, with choices of 3 appetizers, 3 entrees and 2 Deserts was excellent. We both went for the Albacore Tuna appetizer and found it to be spectacular - we are seriously considering coming back once more just for this appetizer! For entrees, we chose the Ling cod for one and the Braised Beef Cheeks for the other, both were very well executed, I particularly enjoyed the beef cheeks with the cured bacon and my spouse raved about the ling cod. We also tried (and shared) both of the desserts: winter squash tart with chocolate mousse as well as the Smoked Espresso Bean Creme Brule. The wines per glass were a tad on the expensive side, but that goes with the venue. We enjoyed both the whites (Arrowleaf Pinot Gris @ $11) and the red (Tantalus Pinot Noir @ 17). The service by Trina was perfect, genuinely friendly and efficient. Ambience is subdued, view was almost nil - didn't get a glimpse of the city lights but on the other hand enjoyed this mysterious athmosphere with the outlines of the heavily snow-covered trees right outside the window fading into the mist, contrasted with the cozy mood of the restaurant and its fireplace. The dinner of course includes a free ride up (and down) on the gondola together with the skiing enthusiasts, as well as free parking in the spacious parking lot. Overall: a very good experience at a quite reasonable price, taking everything into consideration.

The decor is different, mostly First Nations, The Yukon breakfast was abundant and tasty, lots of bacon. The service was pleasant and friendly although we had to wait a bit. That did not surprise us as the place inside was packed. Outside Seating is much nicer! (we also were there in summer). Pricey, but due to the size of the portion it comes, as well, as no surprise. Could not get "poached" eggs and the coffee (they brag about it) was, to our taste, too weak. Overall: A nice place to visit. You will not leave hungry, but has room for improvements as it appears to live out of past reputation. Good to experience a couple of times.

I've been to all three Burgoos and the North Van was my last restaurant to try and its just as BurGOOD! They do make the best comfort foods whether its the crispy and gooey Grilled Cheese Sandwich, the Tastiest Chicken Sandwich or the delectable Mac n Cheese. They do make them the best.
I haven't tried a restaurant that can rival them and the service is great too. The only set back is the price because it is pricier than other restaurants. But the taste outweighs the price.

Palki' is a tradition as old as the sub-continent we call India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. It is a carriage, painstakingly made of wood, and decorated with fine stones, intricate carving and adorned with fresh flowers and garlands. It is a vehicle we take on the most momentous journeys of our lives, the one we call 'Marriage'. The Palki also took Nobles and Kinsmen on important tours across the country. Fine Indian cuisine at Palki Restaurant is a similar process. Carefully chosen spices and herbs come together in numerous delicacies both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. One only needs to look at the Menu to appreciate the versatility of traditions that stir up one's taste buds and leave a lingering taste in one's mouth. Palki has been rated as one of the finest Indian Restaurants in North Vancouver with its unique decor, high-quality dine-in experience, and reliable and tasty take out Indian food Delivery service.
Four of us were on vacation in Vancouver, and found this restaurant on the list our hotel had recommended. It was wonderful. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. The Arms Reach Bistro, established in 2004, in the heart of Deep Cove, offers a tasteful west coast style cuisine with a unique flare. Open at 11am seven days a week, we serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. Come down and join us, relax and relish in the spectacular waterfront view.
I visited this restaurant for a Dine Out Vancouver menu but since it was lunch time, we could not taste it. Too bad it didn’t mention on their website Dine Out Vancouver is only for dinner time.(I could not find it on their menu page)
Instead, I ate Seafood spinner pasta with prawn, mussels, tomatoes and breadcrumbs($21), and my friends are Vegetarian pasta called Rocket Spaghetti with egg, trifle mushroom and oyster mushroom, and arugula($18).
I liked my seafood pasta but it was very average. However my friend strongly recommend her Vegetarian pasta, and she loved it!! She would come back definitely for that pasta!!
What I disappointed with the restaurant was the service from our waitress.
She was not attentive. We had to wait for her a while a couple of times.
She asked us if we need to use the machine for the bill after we finished dining and we got our bill. My friend had not finished her wine yet but we took it as if she nicely asked us to leave while my friend was still drinking. She was nice but it was not the best service I would expect in these nice restaurants.... too bad.
This restaurant had a cozy and nice atmosphere with nice ocean view.
Egg Benedict’s are a half price between 11 am to 1 pm on Sat & Sun, that sounds like a great deal. Since I only managed to try a pasta dish, I would like to try either dinner menu or brunch menu on the weekend next time.
Out of 5 stars;

This was a pleasant and comfortable experience. It exceeded our expectations. The drinks, beer and wine in the lounge were tasty and affordable during happy hour. We enjoyed the prawns snack. Service was very good and the atmosphere was casual. The restaurant was appropriately priced with a good selection. The servings were good with an average presentation. We were a little rushed at ordering but we are slow and she may not have realized we were there for a longer time than some. There was a sufficient variety of red wines.

It was a combo at an attractive 10 $ , with a main course of your choice , Naan, Rice , Salad with Channa gravy. The portions were good and the taste was nice . Mango yogurt was very delicious . Overall a sumptuous and satisfying lunch .
