We enjoyed a lovely family meal in this restaurant in Noia. While the menu was not available in English the chef was happy to translate the menu for us. The hake with green sauce was exceptionally nice as was the sirloin steak. We would definitely recommend this restaurant if you are in Noia.

First of all, the staff is wonderful. The gambas al ajillo was the best I have had in Spain. The flan is fantastic. The veal chop is tasty but slightly tough. The papas Freitas are grand even if a little under cooked. Well worth the walk and exploring needed to find it. Will return tomorrow for the famous cheese cake.

Their Terrace is under stone arches, not far from an otherwise not too busy street. The kind of no-nonsense, unpretentious place - I have to admit - I prefer to restaurants playing big. In two dinners we were not disappointed, everything was fresh and tasted good, although perhaps not very remarkable. And, all this at an acceptable price. Their wines are also good and reasonably priced, for around and even under €15. (Not the case in many, for wine less lucky tourist resorts in other Med countries, such as Croatia or Greece, not to mention Turkey.) One starter I recall and liked was Empanado Mais, fish coated in polenta, worth a try. Service was also helpful and sufficiently good, I could hardly imagine how those stories triggering negative comments could unfold.

Tipical Galician food in Pazo da Costa 1300 Century.
Great place to stop for glass of vine. Beautiful historical site, standard tasty food. The tavern is definitely worth the stop.

Delicious food, loved the pastas particularly the cannelloni. Helpful friendly staff. Don't visit noya without paying Mamma Mia a visit.

Ambiente simpatico e tranquillo. servizio veloce ed attento.
Cucina curata e saporita.
