Ningbo (Chinese: 宁波; Mandarin pronunciation: [nǐŋ pwó] ( listen)), formerly written Ningpo, is a sub-provincial city in northeast Zhejiang province in China. It comprises the urban districts of Ningbo proper, three satellite cities, and a number of rural counties including islands in Hangzhou Bay and the East China Sea. Its port, spread across several locations, is among the busiest in the world and the municipality possesses a separate state-planning status. As of the 2010 census, the entire administrated area had a population of 7.6 million, with 3.5 million in the six urban districts of Ningbo proper. To the north, Hangzhou Bay separates Ningbo from Shanghai; to the east lies Zhoushan in the East China Sea; on the west and south, Ningbo borders Shaoxing and Taizhou respectively.

What a pleasant surprise, an authentic rodizio experience in the heart of Ningbo!
Don't get me wrong, this is not Fogo De Chao, but the owner has created as authentic as possible churrascaria, considering what is available to him in China.
For us dining there was a good change to the usual Chinese food. The owner was very nice and friendly, and the value for what you get is good.
Unlike the usual rodizio restaurants in other parts of the world, the lamb here is one of their best cuts, and a must try.
Don't expect a churrascaria like you get in Brazil or US, but do expect to leave satisfied.

The staff here are lovely people and Bruce is regularly there making sure everything is up to snuff. The food is great and the atmosphere offers a fabulous environment to hang out with friends. Sunday drink specials are pretty stellar too!

O'Reilly's Irish Pub has been satisfying both visitors and locals alike from the same location on Caihong Road since it opened its doors in 2006. The old "Irish pub" look has become a true landmark, and inside the pub, the turn-of-the-century Irish Saloon theme adds a welcoming charm not commonly found outside Ireland. An authentic Irish bar, drawing on the long tradition and loyal client base in Ningbo On busy nights, the atmosphere is very alive with locals and expat regulars including a strong following from the Sheraton across the street. True to its roots and still a little rough around the edges, O'Reilly's is the real deal... it's as good as it gets outside of Ireland.
It's a nice option if you want to chill out having a beer or a drink. The food is average but the service is more than friendly. For Ningbo standard I think is a good choice to go

We serve authentic Indian food.We don't do any fusion. All meat used is Halal. We also open in night as a bar till dawn.
We went to eat in ganesha as they informed me that it is considered the best Indian food in ningbo. We waited around 40 minutes for the food and when I asked the staff he said they were short of people so we had to wait although the tables who came in after us already had food. Also we ordered utter naan but they gave us normal naan! The food it's ok maybe better than other Indian restaurants but the service is very bad. Also the restaurant is very small and should be taken more care of our table clothes was dirty and broken. The prices are also ok we spent around 100 rmb in 2 but only ordering 3 things. Honestly I'm not sure I would go back

Cucina italiana autentica.
I was so excited to eat at this restaurant as I was told a chef from Italy owns & works the kitchen. Locals rave about this restaurant as well. I had the pizza which was just ok as well as pasta. Nothing about the meal tasted Italian but rather a China version of what locals think Italian cuisine is like. I am sure it attracts many Ex Pats as we like a taste of home. Not worth going again..

Breakfast is excellent if not a bargain. Lunch and dinner all you can eat of almost anything. Beer is included with dinner but getting a cold one is often a challenge as no enough was on ice. The sushi section is a bad imitation of sushi, C- rating, c'mon hotel management, hire a proper sushi chef to train them. By and large however the meal choices are quite good. Language issues with waitresses if you need any English or French, but they are sweet.

This is one of the most expensive Restaurants in Ningbo, so we were expecting an excellent service, good quality of the food and great presentation of every dish. The cuttlery is old or in very bad condition and dirty. The forks are bended and the spoons as well. They do not wash properly the glasses and the variety of drinks is really poor. Make sure you desinfect your plate, glass and chopsticks as in the restaurants down the street - this is very poor for a restaurant of that supposed standard. The service is really poor and only in Chinese. They do not have any staff member who speaks English, so if you do not have any person who can translate for you, do not even try it.
They have private rooms, not a single room with multiple tables, so we were expecting privacy. However, each room is only divided by panels, so the place is really loud and there is no sense of privacy.
The furniture is very old and torn. The chairs are not even comfortable anymore.
Some dishes are ok, but the fish does not come cut, so be aware that local fishes have tiny bones and everywhere. Seafood is ok but I do not recommend eating any chicken dish. The seafood and fish is fresh, you can always chose it living from big tanks. Unfortunately, the local kitchen drains and drowns everything in grease and oil. Therefore even the freshest fish and shells will end up tasting like tin food on your plate - if you are lucky and the amount of portions on the plate is sufficient to be wheeled once around the rotating round dining table. If you look for local kitchen, be aware that here you are signing up for a festival of reheated oil.
If you have a businnes meeting or want to try local food, go to another place, your guests will appreciate it.

After spending many days traveling around China and visiting mostly small cities with limited International food options, i was ecstatic when i found the Mevlana Turkish Restaurant in Ningbo.
I had a business lunch there with two of my Chinese business colleagues. The menu handed to us was huge and everything looked excellent there. Eventually i settled on the Mixed Pita with Mince, Lamb and Cheese toppings. At first the waiter messed up my order by bring a pizza instead of the Pita, however, this was quickly rectified without much fuss.
When my Pita finally arrived, it was one of the finest dishes i have ever eaten in my life. My colleagues were also extremely happy with their food. The taste, presentation and quality of the food here is exceptional.
I look forward to visiting Mevlana many more times in the future and highly recommend it to anyone looking for quality Halal food in Ningbo.
