The Cannery menu will appease every appetite with a balanced selection of steak, seafood, and vegetarian options. Our Executive Chef prepares generous portions that allow local Niagara-on-the-Lake ingredients to shine. Top it all off with a sweet and savoury dessert featuring fresh local fruits or devilishly dark chocolate. Every guest will leave satisfied with great service and an outstanding taste of Ontario cuisine. Every dish can be complemented by a selection from our extensive Wine List, filled with local and international favourites.
We spend two lovely days in NOTL and I fell in love with this amazing town! Peter made our 49th anniversary very memorable at the Cannery lounge section because the restaurant was very busy and had a long wait. The same menu selection was available in the lounge and the restaurant. Peter's service was very attentive on our special occasion - he brought us a candle and a lovely rose in a vase and the staff gave my husband a dozen or so lovely fresh long stem red roses from their many lobby vases to surprise me with. How nice! We ordered the prime rib medium and it came quite rare and not medium as we ordered. But it was absolutely no problem, as our entire meals were redone very cheerfully. The second prime rib dinner was excellent! Peter asked what we wanted for dessert but we were stuffed and then he asked what would you choose if you weren't so full. I said cream Brûlée and a complimentary dessert came with "Happy Anniversary" in chocolate written on the plate. The experience was special and memorable! Peter told us about a fish and chip special the next day and we came back for that as well - it was very good and the ambience around the pool was lovely. I wish we booked a room at the Pillar and Post- it's lovely without being stuffy. Queen Elizabeth stayed there years ago: thats how special the hotel is!

A small intimate dining room serving a variety of Asian-fusion food and local Ontario wines. Our menu features a fusion of Western dishes with an Asian flair - with influences from Japanese, Chinese, Indian and other South-East Asian cuisine. Prices range from $9-$13 for Appetizers and $20-$26 for Entrees.
The prices were very elevated.
The entree size very small which didn't reflect the price.
We were only table in restaurant.
The wait staff hurried us through our dinner.
Tired looking restaurant, cheap chairs very uncomfortable not enjoyable but food was ok nothing special
Won't be returning

They do a great job with service at the Tiara Restaurant. We stopped and got some appetizers before we headed into town for dinner and they were tasty and different. The bread they use was one of our favorite things and the cheese plate was delicious too. If you are into trying new food and being fancy, this is a good option. If you are more of a hamburger person I would recommend you go somewhere else.

Hillebrand Winery Restaurant celebrates the relationship between our land, our people, our wines and our food. Chef Frank Dodd showcases locally inspired cuisine made with ingredients from the bounty of Niagara Wine Country, and Winemaker Craig McDonald pairs them with wines made from grapes that grow in the same soil. Extend your stay in Wine Country, and allow us to arrange a private tasting in our Collector's Boutique or another Winery Experience prior to your meal.
Following the tour we had dinner at this restaurant. We were greeted and hosted by Brad who did an outstanding job ensuring that our every need was addressed. Brad choose excellent wines for our pairings with each dish. Every dish was done to perfection. If you are looking to celebrate a special occasion and want a great meal in a very relaxing setting, this is some place I would recommend you consider.

The HobNob restaurant & wine bar serves contemporary French cuisine with a regional flare. The restaurant features breakfast, lunch, dinner and afternoon tea. Visit the dining room, lounge, wine bar or fully licensed patio where you can enjoy a wide range of delicacies accompanied by a vast selection of Niagara wines. The Charles Hotel dining room has been recommended in publications such as Gourmet Magazine, Wine Spectator and Toronto Life and is the proud recipient of the CAA Four Diamond Award as well as the VQA Gold Award of Excellence.
Perfect ending to our day. Cozy and comfortable dining. Service was right on. My husband had the tasting dinner, many courses paired with wine. He had always wanted to do this and he was so glad he did. Excellent value and all the courses were fantastic. I opted for the duck and was very pleased also with my choice. The ambience and food here is wonderful.

Location: Next to the Outlet Collection at Niagara, except make a left opposite the mall. The restaurant is not visible from the intersection so you must follow Taylor road a bit before making a left.
Parking: The restaurant has its own small parking lot as you enter (shaped like a U). There is no fee to park here.
Hours: open for lunch Tuesday to Saturday and for dinner Friday and Saturday.
Teaching Restaurant: In case you did not know, this is a teaching restaurant by Niagara College where under supervision, students run the place in terms of service and cooling.
Service: Our server was pleasant,. but there was a large gap due to waits sometime and I found that she was not always that attentive during that period. The one time that we asked for some appetizers to be cut more, she seemed flustered. Still, it is a student facility.
Food: We found our sampling of two salads and pizza were fine, but not outstanding. The salads were small and somewhat bland. The beets were not too tender. Pizzas were fine in terms of texture and composition without being too doughy, overdone or over sauced, but still lacking some flavour.
Mains were received well. The pasta with lamb was good and filling and well balanced. Same for the seafood pasta. The chicken Sandwich and seasoned fries were also good and people especially liked the tries.
Water: Each bottle of filtered sparking or still is $3 which is said to support the students directly.
Décor: As you can see from other postings of pictures, the restaurant is a round room with lots of windows and a patio out front. It is plain inside focusing on wood and window views of the green house and lawn.
Price: Costs were reasonable, but of course more than casual eating. Entrees were around $16 and up.
Overall: Some of our party has been here before and commented on how difficult it can be to get a table, so try to reserve. We found the place to be fine, despite what seemed to be a long wait, and we enjoyed contributing to student learning for future great chefs, and we would come back again.

LIV Restaurant is the award-winning, unforgettable gem, located at White Oaks Resort in Niagara on the Lake. The locally inspired wine list, lighting and music in LIV provide a fantastic backdrop to a spectacular dining experience. The service exemplifies the Four Diamond level the hotel is known for and provides for an experience truly beyond expectations. Chef Michael Price and his team have done something extraordinary. They have taken Canada’s Basic Food Guide and transformed it through international cooking styles and seasonings to create an unparalleled, globally inspired four diamond menu. All of the ingredients are natural, each one chosen for its uncompromising purity. Our team are more than willing to come out of the kitchen (time permitting) to discuss the menu or any special dietary concerns you may have. The menu changes slightly every season to take advantage of the locally grown produce that is so abundant in the Niagara Region. The atmosphere is chic/sexy.
We were 15 minutes early for our reservation but graciously seated right away. Immediately after being seated we were offered warm towellets and a delicious Amuse. Our waiter was extremely plesent and helpful with anything we requested. The four of were all very happy with our meals. I will not say what we ate as everyone has different tastes. I will just say each of our dishes were very well presented. Flavors were excellent.

An authentic Irish pub experience here in Niagara on the Lake. In 2007 our founder Trevor Smyth built a pub to rival any on the Emerald isle. Our focus is on using fresh quality ingredients in large portions. We will do anything to please our guest. Service is a point of pride at this pub. We deeply appreciate when guests choose us and want them to have an excellent time. We welcome customers as if they are guests in our home.
Went here with friends for lunch and impressed with the quality of food and service. Great warm ambience, excellent food for the price and big portions. Would definitely go back for another meal. There are so many high priced restaurants in this town it was great to find one reasonably priced in a super location.

At Ravine we are blessed with a culinary program that has a lot more to offer then just talented cooks in the kitchen. We are among the few self standing restaurants that bake our own bread, raise our own pigs, grow our own certified organic vegetables while pairing our meals with the guidance and discriminating palate of a wine maker and in house sommelier. We are extremely proud of our service team and confident in the level of hospitality that will be shown to your table whenever you choose to dine with us at Ravine.
Tucked off the beaten track, this is a really great little place. Actually its not so little.. and has a winery, restaurant and country store on the property. It doesnt have that industrial feel to it and is more "local"
Food is really good and they have a prix fix menu in the winter months. i love the fact they dont have all sorts of restrictions on it. (ie. just choose what you like from the menu).
Wifey is Vegan and they made up an entre for her with no hassle.
Service is really good and they have a nice little bar.
One wish.. would be great if the wine mark up wasnt so high... you can buy the same bottle from them at half the price. Not sure why they add $20 mark up in the resto.. I think making it more appropriate would go a long way!
worth a visit!
