Die Pizza (Salmone) war weich und käselastig. Ich hab schon oft bessere Pizza gegessen. Leider hat das hier nicht meinen Geschmack getroffen.

Even though I don't speak German, but I'd like to suggest all to have a good experience dining here. This restaurant is in a small town/village and you have to bring a car to go there. And guess what? I even couldn't believe myself that I would find such a beautiful place here and next to the Catholic Church. They will give you a good service and with excellent food and also we can spend our dinner time in their garden area (the summer), like dining in our home. Have your good time there... :-D

I write this review purely based on the food and drink at the Neuwirt as I was not staying at their hotel. A very warm and friendly welcome awaits those entering the Neuwirt. There is a good choice of quality beers and a substantial menu. I wanted a true taste of Bavaria and was recommended the Schweinebraten. This was absolutely superb and was exactly what I was hoping to taste. It is a Bavarian Pork Roast with dark beer sauce, potato dumplings, and coleslaw (cabbage). This is a popular dish and apparently often sells out. The staff here were very friendly and some, including the owner speak excellent English. It has a nice large courtyard style beer garden with a small area for children to play. If visiting this town again I would seriously consider staying at this hotel too. Check out their website at www.neuwirt-neuburg.de

We've had the pleasure to have dinner in this excellent restaurant a couple of times with my husband, sister and friends
and it's always been a pleasure. Great atmosphere, stunning views from the Terrace (hence the name "Aussicht" - View) and a great chef make it the best option in town. I highly recommend it and can't wait to have some drinks sitting in the Terrace watching a summer sunset.

The restaurant is on the market square on the 'new' town (i.e. not up the hill in the historic town). It's a typical German restaurant serving huge portions of good simple robust food. It seems to be the most popular restaurant in town. After getting bored being soaked at Neuburg air show the next day we left and came back here for lunch

We where 15 visiting the restaurant. I had the Wiener schnitzel which was ok but dry. Potatoes was ok.
Service was reasonable fast, beers well poured and tasteful.
Waitresses informal but ok
Atmosphere bland as the rooms are big and a white cold feeling
All in all ok but not great

This restaurant is located in the front of Rathaus of Neuburg and still in the area of St. Peter curch or 3 minute walk from the legendary schloss of Neuburg. The Interior is traditional Bavarian architecture and originally from the era of the Baron since this city is not been bombed in 2nd world war so everything still well kept here. The menu of the day is interesting since we are in the time of christmas so its vary from roasted duck to Grilled lamb. We try Roasted duck served with red sauerkraut and potato dumpling, Beef grilled served with wine sauce and spaetzle- Bavarian style of noodle with winter salad and Lamb grilled in red wine sauce served with rosemary potato and sautéed green bean with ham. All is delicious and in the big portion :) just the lamb cuisine little bit too salty for me :( the wine choose is great also :)

If you have a sweet tooth and love cozy, perhaps close to exaggeratedly decorated cafés, then you should climb up the stair-cases to the uphill old town café Kate Cafe am Theater. The assortment of handmade cakes and tarts, macarons and other sweets will floor you, until you have tasted them. You will want to have more of it. The Tuscan almond tart, the blueberry tart, the Blackforest cake or the eggnog tart, whichever we tried, they all surprised us with their clear tastes, excellent ingredients and the speckless presentation on the plate. Nothing to complain about.
The coffees and teas were great as well and the waitress had no problem at all to offer us different sorts of sparkling wines with hibiscus syrup or without just to underline the taste of the above mentioned cakes. The staff is extremely friendly and discrete, their English and German are -compared to other locations in the area- exceeding any expectations with a tad of Bavarian accent. All in all the best place to savor these high-in-calories and even higher in endorphins products of patisserie... Don't miss it!!!
PS: Their breakfasts are also great!
