We stopped for cup of coffee after an event at Crystal hall.
Being super tired , all me and my wife needed was a strong and light coffee respectively.
As requested they obliged and served perfect coffee.
Place was not very crowded which helped us relax well.

Been to RainTree during January vacation had an amazing and surprising coorgi food. A prefect blend and Dulcet of Chicken Ghee roast and Mellow of Chicken pepper fry. Also you feel most happiest is when you and all your friends and Family are happier with food and nothing wasted on plate.
A must to visit place for the foodies worth the money you spend.

Pros: Neat and clean place. Common north indian and south indian dishes are present. The taste and quality was good. The service was also good.
Cons: A bit overpriced. You can get the same quality food for less price in surrounding restaurants . The local cuisines are very minimal.

The crowd in the restaurant tells about its popularity. Situated very close to the bus stand and right in from of the General Timmaiah Circle. The service is pretty quick and the prices are reasonable. Parotta and mutton/chicken curry is a good combo. Mutton Biryani was awesome. One can try surmai/ seer fish curry or fry. It's a casual dining space.

It is a small hotel with limited Seating options, run by 3 or 4 ladies. Options are limited but provide delicious Coorg food. I have tried Black beauty pork curry along with Akki roti and it was delicious. Take away option would be ideal if you are with family as the place is very small and Seating arrangements are very basic. The dishes are tasty and prices are very reasonable.
It is located near Madikeri fort and the location in goolge maps is accurate.
P.S: Heard that desserts are really nice, never tried.

An average vegetarian place that is open at all times. I wouldn't mind eating here at all - although the experience was not "fine dining" or create an explosion on the palate, it was quite a practical and useful restaurant - one of the very few vegetarian places in Madikeri. Will go again if I was around this area.
