Nafplio (Greek: Ναύπλιο) is a seaport town in the Peloponnese in Greece that has expanded up the hillsides near the north end of the Argolic Gulf. The town was an important seaport held under a succession of royal houses in the Middle Ages as part of the lordship of Argos and Nauplia, held initially by the de la Roche following the Fourth Crusade before coming under the Republic of Venice and, lastly, the Ottoman Empire. The town was the capital of the First Hellenic Republic and of the Kingdom of Greece, from the start of the Greek Revolution in 1821 until 1834. Nafplio is now the capital of the regional unit of Argolis.

Tucked away in a quiet lane but only a about 200 metres from the main streets this is a little gem. The servings are generous. Our lamb and artichokes was absolutely outstanding - traditional and tasty. The baked eggplant melts in your mouth. The whole menu looks good and we will return to try something totally different. Wine choices are very limited but this is a taverna and our red was great. Nothing could be better than sitting outside on a September evening enjoying great food. When the bill arrives your smile will be even bigger - amazing value for money.

Nafplio is a lovely old town by the sea and this restaurant was recommended by our guide which we tried. The atmosphere is very nice, they also have Seating outside ( with heating) and the food is very good.
One warning: portions are really big and if you order salad, one dish per person is too much, it is a good idea to share a main dish. We had Greek salad and pork tenderloin with prunes which was delicious. It had cold potato purée and rice as a side dish. They have wine, beer and ouzo.
Many locals come here with their families and it is really very busy.
Service is efficient.
Prices are reasonable compared to quality.

O Pseiras has relocated. In the same historic neighbourhood, laden with history, but on a much more central and easier to find location, we are expecting our customers, old and new to keep trying the same old delicious dishes we have been cooking for 32 years, plus many more new "mezedes" to accompany your ouzo, tsipouro or beer alongside our main courses. New address is 25th Martiou str, number 33. Open every day except Tuesday. Friday, Saturday and Sunday open all day long.
Little Taverne a few minutes to walk from the old City of Nafplio. Really warm welcome and good Service. Daily specials in Addition to a small but good menu - we got lamb with lemon sauce and pork with white wine with mustard. Tasted wonderful.Dear Michael Thank you for your kind words. We hope you have a nice holiday and see you again for some more home-cooked food tasting. Warm regards Haris and Chryssa

The food was yummy, good Greek tavern cuisine. The service was great even though the restaurant was pretty busy. They offer tsipouro and dessert at the end which is really amazing and we were all greatly pleased especially since by experience in most touristic places they care about taking your money without making an effort. This place is a great exception and it is highly recommended.

Everything we ate was tasty and the portions are very big. Service was excellent. Don’t order to many you won’t be able to finish it all. We went twice and even though I didn’t order a main the 2nd day we still left food. In the picture I have already eaten 2 pieces of meat and left what you see. Nice place will always eat there when in Nafplio.

A delightful restaurant, in historic surroundings. I was pleasantly surprised at the unique dishes offered , along with traditional Greek food. The Moroccan beet salad was delicious and full of flavour. Zucchini balls were prepared perfectly, not oily. Greek french fries, always a favorite, were dusted with oregano and a hint of lemon. Unable to finish the meal, it was as packaged up to take away.
A plate of sliced apples, with cinnamon and a drizzle of honey was complimentary at the end of the meal. The servers were attentive and friendly.
A magical place, I will return to experience other dishes!

3Sixty is not just another cafe-bar. We thought designed and tirelessly organized for several months what we call 3sixtycafe. Our goal was to offer a place for people to meet and entertain, a real hot spot in our region. We wanted to create a wonderful environment designed with very high quality standards, combined with really perfect service. And we tried to do all the above, bearing in mind that the most important aspect for both us and you, is that you can visit as often as you want since we did not want the 3sixty to be an expensive outing, for the privilege once only. For us being "awesome" is the birthright for all.
We wanted to have a bottle of wine and a light dinning so we found our way to the 3sixty which has no relation to the known 360 restaurants found in various cities in Europe so if you expect the same ambiance and food quality turn away :)
I visited with my partner and surprisingly I found a quite rare bottle of wine so my first impression, actually my second as my first was the nice deco of the restaurant, was very positive up to when our food arrived. I had the unfortunate inspiration to order scallops which were dry, laid on a unidentifiable and rather poorly conceived and executed sauce for which four scallops the price was € 22 i.e € 5.5 / piece (4 pieces) for which price I wouldn't complaint if they were juicy and tasting wonderfully but they didn't did they :)
I have to say that the service was friendly and professional but still fill we were ripped off so I advice you to stay away from the food anyway and stick to the wine :)

Despite good reviews on Tripadvisors, we kept our expectations in check when eating Italian food in touristy Nafplio. We just wanted something that were not greek after ten days of souvlaki! We ordered risotto and another fresh pasta. Both were quite yummy. The two pizzas the table next to us were having looked good too. Great place for people watching as it is on one of the main drag in town.
