If you love big meat portions, don't hesitate, you won't find better in the city.
Those who tried the meat were very satisfied compared to those who tried fish or salads.
Don't even take appetizers, you won't be able to finish your entree's meat portion.
Quality of wine is very average and quiet a shame for a restaurant located at the border of France. It tasted more like vinegar than wine.
Decoration is poor and the room is very noisy. Avoid tables located next to the doors (smokers leave those opened and you get in the cold wind).

a cosy and romantic villa open since 35 years and proposing french gastronomic cuisine, with a good price/quality. Different menus, special diner "Lobster " on thursday, and musical and dance evening on friday.
We komen hier heel graag terug!

we stumbled across this restaurant on a Saturday night around 8pm. We had no reservation but were immediately seated ( 3 adults) even though the restaurant was very busy. As we were non French speaking English people we had the menu (which is presented on a large chalkboard brought to the table) patiently explained to us. The food was served quite quickly, but not too quickly that you thought it was pre prepared, we had the feeling the food was freshly prepared for each customer. The food was absolutely delicious, from memory I had the mixed cold meat starter, the Lamb for main course and the mixed desert. Each course was delicious and ample. The lamb was gorgeous, and I can particularly recommend the mixed desert, it was absolutely beautiful, and very good value for money. The service was excellent, and even though we were foreigners we were made to feel very welcome. The owner himself served us, he was busy all night taking and serving orders. At the end of the night we were treated to a complimentary glass of Limoncello and Grappa, which was a lovely touch. When we are working in Tourcoing again we will definitely revisit this great restaurant.

Had a really tasty meal here and pleasant dining experience due to their delightful staff.
Had the Mandarin menu at about 27€ which was delicious and a bottle of Tavel Rose at about 29€, which was quite strong and clean-tasting and fruity but not sweet.
Had lovely big table of 4 for the two of us.
Seemed very popular place.
Recommended.

It is a real farm redecorated into a restaurant. You can take advantage of two floors and if the weather allows it, you can settle down on the terrasse inside (in the yard). The plates are big and delicious, very good quality, everything is cooked on the place. The prices aare reasonable and the staff is welcoming. Lunch: Dish of the day plus coffee 11 EUR!
