Cafe and refreshments in the main square - Not to be confused with the Lost Unicorn.
We went to the Lost Unicorn during the Jazz week, during which small Concerts take place. The whole event was very unprofessionally organized. When booking they told us that the event would start at 20:30 but it actually started an hour later. Staff told us that we had come very early as if it were our fault. They did offer us however a glass of wine for the delay. The wine and the dish with the variety of dishes we ordered was very expensive. The only positive thing is the setting of the restaurant.

Tsagarada Hotel Aleka's House, has a restaurant which has received certification for the traditional Greek cuisine. It is open daily from 12 at noon till 11 at night and provides great traditional dishes with local products and local production of raki. It has a cellar with a great selection of wines for every taste and flavor. We are waiting for you in one of the top Tsagarada hotels and we are open every day during the year here in Tsagarada of Pelion.
We were in Tsagarada for two weeks and we ate nine times at Aleka restaurant. Honest food, more than enough, tasty, for normal prices. Nice Terrace, good friendly service. Starter and bread for free. If you don't order desert you get fruit for free too.
Recomended.

Amazing Greek Specialties With Mediterranean Influence, By Well Traveled Greek/spanish Owners. In A Spectacular Setting, Right By The Square Fountain. Great Views In The Summer, Cosy Fireplace In The Winter, Friendly Service. Open Everyday, except Mondays.
This restaurant e is situated at a busy square towards the entrance of Tsagarada.
The outside tables around the tree add to the romantic 'past times' feel. some of the tables also enjoy some lovely uninterrupted view of the Mountains. We were a large group of two families but the staff sorted everything out with great efficiency. Everything we ordered was great. Prices were Ok. Because the place is very busy pre-booking is highly advised.

Maybe it was the end of the season.... It started well with homemade dips and bread and a delicious fig and blue cheese salad but the main courses were disappointing and felt pre cooked and heated up rather than fresh. Only one dessert offered but nice fruit platter. Lovely setting and good service

We have been welcomed very friendly.
Compared to previous years they have someone welcoming you by entering the square.
Order was received fast and food was delivered as it comes out of the kitchen.
We prefer this because of having young children.
Unfortunately they have no bottled wine and their own one was just ok.
Food and prices were I good relationship.

The setting is wonderful (and much nicer than neighbouring Agios Ioannis), overlooking Papa Nero’s immaculate white pebble beach, with pastel chairs set beneath large, shady trees. It’s particularly attractive at night with its lanterns and screen curtains swaying in the breeze.
We ate here four times on our recent trip to neighbouring Damouchari and four times we ate well. Oraia Ammoudia’s menu is extensive (and delightfully described - well worth a read), offering fresh fish and seafood alongside traditional Greek and regional specialities. We stuck to fish for mains and although the choice was rather limited (waves and wind had hampered local fishing activities), it was fresh.
The fried cod was particularly good, especially accompanied with the superb “skordalia” - a garlic dip - (made with bread), as was the taramasalata (no pink mass produced mush served here!), but so were the shrimps and the “sargos”, as were the “gigantes” - broad beans, the eggplant salad (the best we had on the trip, smoky and spicy) and the fried green peppers which had an impressive kick! The white house wine (mosxofilero - a local grape) was the best we’ve had anywhere, I wish I’d taken back a few bottles.
Portions were generous, service was friendly, speedy and efficient and the atmosphere was lovely. The outdoor bar and large freezers dispense drinks, coffees and ice creams respectively, but the taverna also supplies a range of home made desserts. Each of our meals was rounded off with a complimentary platter of fresh fruit, home-made desserts, ice-cream or Greek sweets.
Prices were very reasonable (the fish in particular was well priced and a full Euro 10 cheaper per kilo than in Damouchari). We (6 adults and 2 children) paid between Euro 125 - 155 which is extremely reasonable considering we had mostly seafood and rather a lot of it!
Highly recommended. We wouldn’t eat anywhere else… and didn’t once we’d discovered this gem.
Tip: It’s easy to drive to from Damouchari (lots of parking along the promenade) but the more energetic can walk via a smaller track that follows the coast. There are just a couple of scrambles along this 20 minute hike, though after a large meal and the very palatable wine it might not be a good idea.

We kept going back to this beautiful café, both for its excellent taste and shaded location (a plus in the summer), as well as the spectacular view of the Aegean and the mouthwatering galatopita (order it with honey). It is decorated in excellent taste and the staff is delightful. A thumbs up!

Really nice and home made food. Been there a couple of times. You really should try and focus more on the cooked and not grilled dishes, not that the grilled are not good, but the cooked ones are really something special!

We got a recommendation for this restaurant from a local person, and we went there.
the prices are pretty high and the food is average. it was nice, but didn't leave a good impression on us. In the end the waiter put a watermelon on the table and didn't ask if we want it, and also charged us for it. The service wasn't that good and the people that smoking outside are just smoking on you.

While we were at pilion with my wife We visited this restaurant twice in five days !
We fully recommend the place because of their great seafood which was very well cooked and the originality of the Mediterranean taste was Simple , original and delicious! They have their own fresh fish so you have to ask .
Will definitely go again !
