Já foi segunda opção depois de no mesma localidade ter tido problemas com uma marcação.
Demorada a espera para ter mesa. E disso não me posso queixar porque estava cheio.
Mas mesmo tendo escolhido a ementa antes de ter mesa, estivemos mais de uma hora até virem os pratos. Salvou-se o facto das entradas que entretanto trouxeram serem razoáveis. O pior foi que paguei mesmo as que não consumi, mas aí a culpa é minha porque não reparei. Não deixa porém de ser um comportamento execrável muito comum em vários restaurantes.
Deu para perceber que os clientes que enchiam a sala são habituais. O tempo de espera era grande para todas as mesas mas ninguém pareceu incomodado com isso.
A qualidade da comida também deixa a desejar. Migas de coentros com poucos coentros e secas e a carne que acompanhava cheia de nervos e pouco tenra. Um escalope de vitela tento e saboroso porém temperado com um molho com demasiado sabor a manteiga.
O empregado é muito simpático mas não chega.

There is no shortage of excellent restaurants in Alentejo. Good food has been a tradition here. However there is still an outstanding place not to be missed there. We have admired Afonso for years but recent visit confirms its superb preparation of game. The "Esopada de lebre" , a carefully prepared dish of a wild hare has an aroma you shall remember all winter long. Other perfect dishes are made of squabs, partridges and goats. The partridge is so memorable that you have to promise yourself not to eat more than you your waistline can tolerate. For desserts try an apple or quince in porto wine. By the way: they also serve white port wine the color of gold and tasting well to supplement your dinner/

Mau ambiente, fraca qualidade dos produtos, Mau atendimento.
Os preços variam conforme a cara do cliente.Nunca se sabe quando está em funcionamento. Depende da vontade do proprietário.
Quando há mais movimento na terra, normalmente fecha para não atender "Muita Gente"

It was a business lunch, without reservation, i think you'll need one during the weekend. I've been to this restaurant a few times and now i think it's time to give it a review following the excellent meal we've had. First of all, we had a waiting period of about 20 minutes for a table, it was a week day, lunch time. After that, the service was very carefull and the waiters (owner and wife i think) are always on the lookout for the customer needs. The food was amazing, very well cooked and with incredible flavour. It's always like this, i've never had a meal at this restaurant, that i could say it was average or below. The food is typical, with a good selection of fish. I always recommend the typical Alentejo food like "Pézinhos de Coentrada" or the "lombinho de Porco Grelhado". I think the prices are affordable, not too expensive given that the size of the portions is well enough for and adult, sometimes for two. Good decoration, great atmosphere with the locals, awesome wine selection, seriously! And great desserts. I'm only sad because it is located a bit far from my hometown, or else i would go there more often for lunch.

The restaurant at the Hotel Solar dos Liláses is located on what was the verandah of the old family house. The large windows provide a very nice view over the town of Mora, the hotel swimming pool and the surrounding countryside. The restaurant is small, so make sure to book a table, specially on weekends and holidays. The food and wine served are typical Alentejo fare, simply delicious. Ask the owner for guidance on the menu. The very sought after local cheeses are available, and the wine list is more than adequate. Try the house wine. Very reasonable prices, friendly atmosphere.

Vale a pena pela carne de porco preto grelhada e o doce da casa, as Migas também será uma boa opção para acompanhar a carne :-)

Comida caseira em formato menu tudo incluído (sopa + entrada + prato + bebida + sobremesa +café). Larga variedade de pratos que podem ser incluídos no menu e que fazem variar o preço entre os 9€ e os 14€. O atendimento não é rápido mas o preço-qualidade e muito bom. Recomendo pois visitamos 3 restaurantes em Mora e este foi o melhor

Mês das migas foi motivo para visita ao Fluviario seguida pela comemoração. Restaurante escolhido aqui no trip, maa foi uma desilusão. Várias entradas, mas a que mais queríamos, torresmos, nada
Escolhidas as migas veio a desilusão . Secas (com um ar de puré de pacote), mas saborosas
A carne em quantidade diminuta, embora depois de cruzados os talheres tivessem perguntado se se desejava mais.
Um preço a que não estou habituado no Alentejo
Ficou a dúvida do cabelo que apareceu num dos pratos (vindo da cozinha ou caído da cliente)
Oferta de um licor com o café minorou a desilusão, mas não convenceu.
