Montepulciano makes a great base for exploring the Tuscan hill towns. Just make sure to pack well-broken-in walking shoes, because cars aren’t allowed in the center of town. Explore the Duomo of Montepulciano and the Palazzo Tarugi… or sample the local wine, Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, which has been praised for centuries.

Had a reservation for 7:30pm and asked for outside Terrace. We got the last table before going inside. Dishan was our server...very knowledgeable and attentive. Ordered two appetizers and bottle of 2014 Chianti Castellinuzza. Wonderful! Dishan brought us a compliment of cheese. The appetizers were liver on toast and onion pudding...both were fantastic. Very nice plating of foods and tastes. Ordered salads and Rabbit, mushroom risotto, and pear and cheese raviole. All entrees were spectacular. We split the Panacotta with fruit and the tiramisu. Everything was very fresh and delicious .
Dishan really treated us well...brought us some Limoncella for the ending. wonderful meal, on a beauitful patio, overlooking an awesome view. This was quite the treat.

This resaurant exceeded our expectations, which were very high to begin with! The restaurant is located in an Etruscan grotto that is over 2,000 years old, and they will let you walk through the old wine cellar during your visit. Our waiter was Luca, who was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. We had the filet with fresh truffles, tagliatelle with porcini, and eggplant with baked pecorino. It was all delicious! Luca recommended an excellent bottle of Moltalcino wine. The dessert was to die for - tiramisu with La Taverna di San Giuseppe’s reserva grappa. This restaurant was the highlight of our trip to Siena and we would recommend it to anyone any day.

Had a wonderful evening at this delightful little restaurant in the hills of Chianti. The food was excellent, especially the boar was fantastic as was the fillet of steak. The atmosphere was great with lovely staff. Highly recommend this to all Tuscan travellers

Sometimes the best meals are the unexpected ones. After a late return to our hotel, Le Fontanelle, we asked the hotel for a nearby suggestion. The hotel said, almost apologetically, had this place had "simple" food which was fine with us. Who know that "simple" food would be the best Florentine T-bone ever, truffle gnocchi served in a Parmesan basket, and delicious sautéed spinach. The place is so charming and romantic as well (at the top of a mountain in a quiet village) and the bottle of excellent local wine was a mere 20 Euros. It was the least expensive meal of the trip and by far the best. The chef served the steak himself on a hot stone and we had leftovers the next day as that steak could feed 4.

Fabulous authentic Italian food in a beautiful piazza in picturesque Pienza! Don't miss the amazing bean soup, grilled cheese and bacon and homegrown tomatoe dishes...absolutely divine and our favourite meal while we were in Italy. Kick back, enjoy a table outdoors and let the generous host order for you, you won't be sorry!

We were recommended this restaurant by the owner of a local vineyard. We stayed in the former owners’ villa.
The food is cooked perfectly. The service is impeccable. The servers were knowledgable and passionate.
The food was a culinary celebration, and the meal itself was an experience.
The variety of bread, olive oils, and balsamic vinegar alone was fantastic!

At our restaurant we offer a fix menu for both lunch and dinner. The meals are served in long tables with the other guests as family style.

We offer Wine tasting with tour of the farm.

For wine tasting, lunch and dinner reservation is needed.
I was here with a client for business lunch and the place looks really nice. The owner took us for a walk around and we discovered that this is a real Italian farm! Wine, cows, veg garden etc etc. It was a light lunch but all dishes made with all natural ingredient, directly from the place.

Nice little Osteria. We had ravioli with wild asparagus which was
delicious. Followed by beef steak tagliatelle with mushrooms. And fish cooked in parchment paper bag. House wine was good. We were happy to find this place because in the Montieri area where we were staying there are not many choices as to eating. A man and his wife run the eatery. Very cordial and most accommodating. We topped off the meal with coffee and Grappa. The grappa was a special reserve, opened at table. It was derived from the Ammarone grape husks and has an amber tone. This libation was exceptional in smoothness and taste.
