local restaurant serving decent traditional Portuguese food, but the service must be improved, one waiter is not enough for a full restaurant.
Beside this, about food, the options available are interesting and the one I tried were delicious, the desserts (pasteis de tentugal) were in fact one of the best I ever had.
Also good wine selection available.

Went for an early dinner and got one of the last tables available, others came after me and still waited a bit for a table. Nice food and reasonably priced, service was ok.

This is an amazing restaurant because: 1. It is only open for lunch 2. They have only one main course dish: grilled sardines 3. You can eat as many as you want (they refill your plates!) 4. The sardines are delicious 5. There's a sign in the restaurant that says (politely) "If you don't like the service, you don't have to stay'. 6. You can have the eat-all-you-can sardines meal for a mere 10 Euros. 7. It's located above the beach but with perfect beach and sea views.
Super local little place with a big reputation, we waited an hour to get a seat for lunch and didn't regret it. From a table outside, there is a great view of the beach. The service was chaotic but charming and the food was spectacular.
We drove out of our way to get to this place and it was worth it.

17th Century Building Restored And Adapted To Provide A Unique Dining Experience.
The kitchen is safe but inventive. Great balance on the menu, with fresh and light dishes, perfectly seasoned, full of flavour, appealing textures and masterfully executed. A special note to the twist on the region's classic dish, the suckling pig, which was rolled in its on skin after being deep fried on its own to assure extra crispness, it creates a perfect texture on your palate.
Taking in regard the quality of what we have eaten, along with the wine pairing, in our view this place offers excellent value for money and we will revisit for sure.

Situated near the Taxi's Square alias (Praca 8 de Maio) and close to car/autocaravan parking, our restaurant offer a Staff Completly italian, Fresh Pasta everyday, menu always new and different as Italian Tradition want. If you want to find a hint of true Italian flavour, come and Visit Us, you are welcome.Alex, Samuel e Federico, the owners.Ristorante Gusto Divino
From the start to the end, this is definitely the best italian rest in Figueira da Foz, and perhaps in Coimbra district. All the pizzas are great, light and made at the correct italian way, tasty, unforgettable. The pastas, anti-pastas and Deserts are all great. The staff is completely "crazy", the best italians in sympathy.
Try the Vesuvio Pizza (if you can eat all) or the tagliata (fantastic!!!) and for dessert the semi-fredo (unique!)
Don't miss if you are around

I came in late and in a cold night so I was the only one in. Service is quite good as well as food. This is the tipycal place where the locals come for take home food. Probably in summer time it is more... warm.

We were looking for someplace serving an early dinner, with a focus on Portuguese cuisine. Casa Havanesa was perfect. The degustation menu provided six different tapas, all of which were good. And we could have seconds of any we really liked. Our favorites were the fried kingfish, and the black pork, which simply melted in your mouth. So after two helpings of each of those (plus the dessert and glass of port), we waddled out of the restaurant very happy.

My boyfriend booked this restaurant as a surprise for my birthday whilst we were on holiday, and it couldn't have been more perfect!
The food was superb, plenty of tapas options and the staff were very helpful in providing recommendations.
The wine list is extensive and we weren't sure which one to go for. The waitress came with a recommendation and we were initially worried it would be expensive but it was incredibly good value and refreshing of the restaurant to recommend one of the cheaper options!
In addition to what we ordered, we were given 'special bread' and a glass of port, both of which were complimentary and tasted delicious.
The dessert 'the vine' was a chocolatey treat that comes in the form of a plant pot - worth seeing for yourself!
Loved the wine box decoration on the walls, great little restaurant and really nice, relaxed atmosphere.
Would highly recommend!
One small thing to note - book in advance via phone if you can, we booked via Facebook a month in advance and they didn't recognise the booking when we arrived. Quickly sorted it though.

We came here by accident, after looking for a nearby restaurant and ohh what a find.
Delicious meal, friendly staff and a lovely bohemian, relaxed atmosphere.
We started with garlic prawns, then hard burgers, sweet potato fried and copious amounts of white wine, and it was all delicious.
10/10 for food, price and atmosphere, highly recommend!
