This Ristorante di Buon Ricordo was excellent. We always try to eat in a couple of these restaurants when we go to Italy. The food is usually very good and we love collecting the souvenir plates. All of the staff were very friendly, the atmosphere charming and we enjoyed all of our dishes. It was well worth going out of our way a bit!

The place looks like many others from the outside. However, the food is exceptional and the service is fantastic. It is mixed international (like Escargots de Bourgogne) and regional (like the famous radicchio from Treviso. I would definetely eat here again if I pass by the area.

When you travel trhough the boulevard that link together the centre of Montebelluna and the ancient village of Mercato Vecchio, you come across the well-known Tavernetta Al Tiglio D’Oro restaurant. It has a blooming Terrace packed with colours, flowers and fragrances, which is used especially in summer to present creative buffet. Tradition and innovation follow the constant rhythm of the season, always offering genuine products, which come from our Region. We address special attention to the bride and the groom in both the menu and the decorations, we also put the same passion and detailed preparation in every family celebration. In our Restaurant we reserve particular attention to customer’s need, whom will always find a friendly and look after environment.
I travel occasionally for business in Montebelluna, and the tavernetta is my favourite. I always find excellent food and service, in a very nice restaurant, suitable for either business or romantic dates, at a fair price. Don't miss it if You are passing by.

We were fooled by the many positive comments and hype surrounding this 'trendy' place. It turned out to be a huge disappointment. Unwelcoming owners with grumpy faces looked us up and down as if to check if we were 'suitable' for their premises. The waiters would not crack a smile if you tickled them. Fancy-sounding dishes on the menu were poor in both quantity, quality and taste. The chicken starter, for example, was paper thin, rock hard and all you could taste was the breadcrums it had been fried in (from frozen). The beer was nothing special. A tiny portion of cheesy-yoghurty nibble was brought to the table without asking if we wanted them, and was then added as an extra to the bill. Even ketchup and mayonnaise were charged as extras! Ridiculous prices for very undeserving food and service. It is clear that Italians tend to favour places from recommendations irrespective of quality, applying the 'if it's expensive it must be good' rule. You have been warned.

We had just arrived in Montabelluna and where hungry. The food was excellent, half the guys had pasta & meat and the other half had pasta & fish. the food was really well prepared and the Prossecco always is a winner.

This is an untraditional osteria in the heart of Montello , the hill close to Treviso. This osteria offers traditional, local and fresh ingredients with a new boost of innovation: the dishes are outstanding and well prepared. It has been really an amazing surprise!

Despite being called “Osteria” (a term more traditionally associated with a pub-like establishment), it is a charming place to have a nice meal. Various meats grilled on wood-fired grill in full view of dining area, but also pasta choices. Started with a plate of local, in-season roasted/sautéed veggies and some bread that was toasted over the fire’s coals. Enjoyed gnocchi and a glass of prosecco that was from the area. Recommend!

We were recommended to be there for their barbecue evening, which we did.
Outstanding landscape over Montebelluna, but I have to be honest, the barbecue was good but not exceptional. Maybe I was unlucky, but I expected more in terms of quality and quantity. Positive overall though.

very amateur place, we sleep there one night and for breakfast we need to ask coffee, bread, eggs, everything! they are not clever as to put everything to you choose.
they can´t speak English, so, you will need an interpreter to ask things there, very bad!
rooms are nice, good view but they need to invest to put some mosquito nets.
