I have visited the restaurant at Strand, so I cannot speak of the hotel part.
But the restaurant is well worth a visit on it's own.
It is a real candle-light dinner kind of place.
In the summer months when it's light til late, you can enjoy a great view over the sea and over the town/harbour of Arild.
You should probably make a reservation if you want a window table.
There's only a small menu - nothing vegetarian. When we were there they had 4 main courses, Cod, Sole, Duck and Deer.
I chose the deer-medallions and I was very pleased with them. Delicious and well prepared.
My girlfriend was not quite as happy with her Sole. It was good but not 'vauw'. But the Profiteroles she had for dessert made up for that.
Good service and good wine completed a very nice evening, and made Strand Arild a place we would like to come back to.

Great view at this restaurant :) I had the burger, which was very juicy and very good. The service is good and quick, and the staff is nice.

A little gem when it comes to the tranquility and view, however steep stairs lead you down and the cafe food is pretty average. Toilets on the parking spot some fifty metres uphill makes it a short stop with children. Beautiful, sharp cliffs below with an old stone pier you can start your swimming or diving from. Looks like a good spot with a few divers on the parking when we came.

Part of Flickorna Lundgren, Skäret, company Gourmet restaurant in the southern Swedish countryside, nearby the Skälderviken Bay.
Nicely settings, friendly staff and excellent food for a very reasonable cost compared to the high end food you get. Rather large portions too. Three separate Seating areas if you count the possibility to sit outdoors. Otherwise there is an older part of the building which is a bit simpler but seems rather cosy, and a newer part which is more lit up from big windows. Big parking and an excellent lamb shop in the same building (meat, furs, trinkets). Recommended!

Champagne not served cold, not enough ice because the ice machine is not working,, then dont sell Champagne then .. or at least dont pretend you know what you are talking about... anyways service was ok and the food was ok but again now a days when every restaurant serves burgers i expect the question how would you like it done .. but no... hmm probable the lat time we will be there..

Went there with a local friend on a hail swept spring day! As expected, the place was packed. I liked the setting and the buffet lunch - 4-5 herring varieties for starters fit the bill, though many lunch goers may be disappointed with the limited menu on offer.

Really like the breakfast buffet. Simple, but great. Hot and cold spreads, local specialties, tea, coffee, milk and juice. Great with kids. Ah, and I forgot, cakes as well!

Reaching the entry sign of the little town of Mölle you can see the white Grand Hotel high up on the cliffs - from there you have a fantastic view over the town and the sea - nice place. We had a table outside on the Terrace - in the sun still with the wonderfull view - tables in several levels - and a nice cold drink. Perfect and friendly service.
When our dinner was ready we went inside sitting at a table still overviewing the sea. We had ordered a really gourmet dish of deer with a little finely grated sour cabbage, and carrots, scallions, and potato. Really delicious and a place you want to come back to ...
And try a room facing the sea.

We had lunch at Garage, burgers, fries and chilli. Kids did not finish their burgers, as for me I thought the cheeseburger tasted too much "cow" and I almost felt bones in the minced meat. Not tasty. Kids' burgers were also cooked medium well, therefore it could be an idea to ask the staff to have the kids' meals cooked well done. The fries were good anyhow. The staff did not feel friendly, almost felt we weren't welcome (although we were not loud or particular in any way...). No smiles, no service. Sat outside since it was fully booked inside, and had to ask for plaids (really cold day). Maybe we were not their "target customer" (family with three adults, two kids and one toddler), but it would be nice if all polite people felt welcome. Will not re-visit.
