Restaurant Konoba was established in 1903, and since then is known for its good food, homely atmosphere and original rustic appearance. One of the oldest restaurants in Kolasin is restaurant Konoba. With family tradition and after the renovation has retained the characteristics of old times. Superb dishes of national cuisine, a wide selection of quality beverages and authentic ethnic ambience are what offers this facility.
Decided to dine here based on the positive reviews but didn't have the same experience as others: cold soup followed by porc chunks in a boring sauce. Grilled vegetables were OK (but it says enough ehen I mention that as a highlight).
Everything served by an uninterested guy. I should probably have opted for the restaurant near the mill...

Restaurant "Slavija" is positioned in the center of Kolašin town. We offer breakfast, lunch and dinner. We serve various barbecue meals, cooked meals, traditional montenegrin meals (cicvara, kačamak...) and meals by special requests. We have good food and the most favorable prices in town. Our stuff speaks English and Russian language. Also, we can help you with finding accommodation.Welcome!
I chose this place because it was near the hotel. Very nice English speaking waiter ( ?also cook since there was nobody else) recommended chicken with Gorgonzola sauce. It arrived quickly (not enough time to prepare it fresh) I did not know chicken could be so leathery. The sauce was equally bad. I took only a few bites and left. It was ironic that there were signs requesting TripAdvisor reviews. Maybe not a good thing.

The restaurant is very nice, with traditional furniture. We have been twice. In the 1st evening it was a very professional waiter, the food was good and tasty. For this evening we would have given an excellent rating. In the 2nd evening THE waiter was ill and we were served by the owners. The service was deplorable and the portions were cold an unprepared.

Highly recommended for any couple, friends or family who would like a day adventure in the Mountains with a driver and tour guide (ask for Svetlana) a drive and trek into the Mountains. Mind blowing views and our tour guide was very informational. A long days tour also includes a walk around the protected lake and a visit to a make- shift mountain village. Despite that the food was freshly prepared and tastes really good! This tour company is called Sport Turist. And we found them by stopping in Kolasin which is predominantly a ski resort located next to the national park of biogradaska. We stayed in a nice woodern apartment in Savardak, arranged by the tourist info in Kolasin. A fantastic day - do it now before the price and popularity rockets! It was £180 for the four of us. (Includes lunch)

From the really friendly welcome to the superb assistance with choosing a local dish to eat this place is excellent.
I choose nationally prepared meats, potatoes and side salad. Huge portions and all fantastic. The meat dish was rich and deep in flavour, pretty sure it was probably beef... salad was exquisite too.

Ideal location, on the river bank of Tara, the Tear of Europe, to relax and enjoy with the best food prepared according to the recipes of our grandmothers. Our recommendation is grill, polenta, cicvara, Kolasin layared cheese, lamb cooked and steamed, roast meat, grilled trout... Be our guest because all roads lead to the restaurant Dobre vode! Welcome!
We were looking for a dinner restaurant after hiking in Biogradska Gora NP. On the way to Kolasin we saw this restaurant and decided to give it a try. We started with nice Soups and then took a good Serbian Salads. For Main course we...MoreThank you very much, we are very glad that you are satisfied. We hope to see you again soon! Best regards!

The "Kozak" restaurant is located in northern Montenegro, only 3 km away from Mojkovac. It is easy to recognize form its authentic architectural features resembling old Montenegrin "savardak" (a type of round mountain cabin with low stone walls, with thatched roof laid on a wooden structure). Besides the breath taking view over the surrounding nature, on the altitude of 1020 meters, you will also feel the hospitality of your hosts.
You can taste the food of national cuisine specialties and relax in the fresh mountain air.
