I have visited this restaurant several times, as their opening times are long and decent. Food is good, basic italian.
Only one experience differs this restaurant to be a very good one.
If restaurant needs to ask me, if I accept "this" portion even if it is not perfect, I do not give 4 or 5 stars for the restaurant. Chef always sets the definition for the quality and if the portion does not meet that, it is clear that it is not delivered in the first place to the customer at all.
But otherwise good price level, tasty food.

the rather intimate restaurant is located a little bit off the main roads nevertheless easy to find.
we met friends fot dinner and enjoyed a fabolous "red cabbage soup" , goose liver grilled to perfection as starters , and as main course pheasant and according to the time of the year one 1/2 of an excellent goose with dumplings complete with red and white cabbage.

The Viennese are big ice cream eaters during the summer and ice cream parlours abound all the city and surrounding areas. While many lay claim to being 'the best' there is none better than Eis Peter in Mödling (although Eissalon Laxenburg in nearby Laxenburg - which was once owned by the same people - is equally as good). A wide selection of flavours to have by the scoop or try some of their specialties - you won't regret it.

Good traditional food and drink. Good value and friendly and fast service. The real deal! Perhaps too much mayonaise on the salad.

This place is great - come here for a casual dinner/drinks with friends! The food is good, the atmosphere is good, and sitting outside is a lovely way to spend the night!

My daughter's wedding was here in September (she and her now husband live locally) and it was absolutely perfect. Petra and her team and the management worked with the couple at every stage to give them exactly what they wanted. the decor, food, service and facilities were wonderful. The main course was even cooked to order and delivered on time and perfectly to taste. Everyone enjoyed it immensely and probably stayed longer as a result, but the staff cheerfully served until the last guests left! Thank you Panorama and can't wait to visit on one of our many future visits to Modling!

The buffet is definetly a milestone in the area. A lot of fresh food and meat which you can pick and they cook it for you.
You can pick the sauce you wish.
The dessert are more poor and I would avoid them.
The restaurant a la cart is a little bit more normal.
For sushi I would say is the number 2 in the area second only to the Restaurant in Brunn

We each ordered a soup and an appetizer/starter (nothing more). The waitress brought a complimentary "house Vorspeise", which was tasty though not large. However, the soups were so delicious and satisfying that we couldn't finish all the food we ordered! (We were happy that we didn't order something even bigger.)
The "spring soup" was seasonal, and so may not be available all the time. It was a creative blend of green "bear garlic" leaves, sweet potato, apple and celery root in cream - a smooth and healthy combination.
The "lentil and vegetable" soup included two spices I couldn't identify, but I tasted them in alternation, almost like magic. It was subtle, not overpowering.
The restaurant combines many ingredients from various cultures, from North Africa across Asia to Japan. Sometimes restaurants that do this do cheap and general food, "Asia for everyone". I'm sure Zen doesn't do everything equally well, but they are at the level of food artisans, and I would tend to trust them with their non-standard combinations.
At least some of the staff had limitations with speaking English. Also, we had to wait for an outside table with the right amount of shade on a very sunny day. Also, note the unusual hours: 11 to 3 and 5 to 11 p.m.
