We came to Mochlos for dinner; we chose Ta Kochilia at random... it was a stroke of luck. Great food well presented... local fish freshly caught; cretan lamb and fresh bread. Simple classic local food, friendly service and a great atmosphere with the waves lapping gently nearby. Four happy customers, half a litre of decent local wine - all for under €70

One of a cluster of sea food tavernas right on the sea front, looking out onto Mochlos Island and the beautiful coastline - and absolutely sublime setting for those seeking authentic, unspoilt Crete. Great food made freshly to order, using local produce. Very friendly, informal service and very good value. You won't be disappointed.

We were really happy to discover this great family restaurant. Dimitris and his wife do excellent job! All food is delicious, fresh, more than that, prices are reasonable. Try their local wine in the jar, it is wonderful. It is true that Dimitris ' wife is from Bourgogne, so she knows very well how to choose wine:) Thank you very much! Greetings from Ferney Voltaire. We originally visited the Bogazi 18 yrs ago not long after Gabby and Manilos took over the taverna. We had a great welcome then and an equally wonderful welcome this time. You can choose fro a great range of seafood and traditional Greek dishes, also daily specials. The taverna is on the seashore with waves lapping just a few feet from your table. Live entertainment some evenings Thank you for some wonderful meals/

From a choice of 4 beautiful waterside restaurants this looked the most appealing. Freshly painted, brightly coloured chairs and tables catch your eye and the canopy privdes welcome shade from the hot sun. The choice of food, especially fish was impressive and we were invited to go and look at it in the kitchen if we wanted. We had a range of delishous meze dishes. The local cats were a bit of a pain hovering at your feet but if you ignore them they will go an pester someone else.
The complementary cake and strawberry raki were the best I had had on the island (and we've visited for the last 2 years!)

Best food i had in years. My husband and i have been in a lot of high class restaurants and believe me when i say that Panorama exceeds them all. We tried lots of cretan delicacies you cannot find anywhere else and the sea food is to die for!if you want to experience real Cretan food that melts in your mouth, that is the place to go!καταπληκτικο φαγητο σπιτικα μαγειρεμένο.φιλοξενια και απιστευτη θεα που σου γεμιζει την καρδια

I stayed here and it was very good infact above average for a budget Greek hotel. Food and hospitality great. Room especially bathroom lovely. Good view from upper bfloor.

Looking out to the island, sat on comfortable and stylish seats, this is a great setting. But what makes this place really stand out is the quality of the drinks. One of the best lemonades anywhere (served in a jar !) and absolutely amazing milk shakes. If it had been a bit later in the day we might have tried their cocktails...

Nice place with beautiful views from the Terrace. But the most important - the taste of food. We have ordered different meat and fish. Everything was perfect! One of the best food we have tried in Crete!
