Had dinner at this very nice restaurant "De Zwaan" in Geldrop, a small town next to Eindhoven in the south of the Netherlands. I worked in the hospitality industry before so I see things a little different when eating out. The staff at this restaurant is very friendly and very well trained.
They know how to explain the menu and options very well. The Menu is very interesting and the food is very well presented. This visit was not just dinner, its was an experience.

This Greek restaurant has great food for an affordable price. The portion sizes are good, not too much, but certainly not too little. The menu is extensive, enough choice for everyone. And the desserts are great! There is lots of Seating space, both in the front main room as well as in a glass house at the rear. A nice ambiance!

Warmly greeted on entering the restaurant which was very busy even at 6pm on a Sunday.Decided to try the Indonesian rijsttafel(rice table) and was really impressed with the quality and quantity of the food provided and at a price of €21.50 each, tremendous value! Starter of chicken soup arrived quickly after ordering and was lovely. The main course of 9 different dishes arrived in plenty of time. We had a carafe of the Rose wine which was excellent and great value at €9.The staff were really attentive and really knew what they were doing, great professional service. We watched other diners partaking in the chinese menu which looked just as delicious as the indonesian one! This is a top restaurant and one i would love to try again, even if it required a detour!

We had a High Tea via a groupon deal. At first we thought it was not worth the price, but the quality of the food was really good, and you could ask as many refills for the food as you like. In the end we didnt need anything refilled because we all had plenty of food.
The staff is really friendly, and the waiter was waiting for us at the door (and opened it for us) when we arrived. Besides a brunch or high tea, you can choose from a lot of activities to do at the Aardborsthoeve, but I guess they need to be reserverd on beforehand.
We had a nice afternoon!

Italian lunchroom, restaurant and wine bar. High tea, high wine. Furthermore a shopping part with Italian Ice, chocolates, coffee and tea products, presents, liquours and Italian wines.
Il Borgo offers mostly Italian lunch items, various types of coffee and tea, ice cream and chocolate. We had a dish for two with various food items, like shrimp, olives and carpaccio. In general it was very good, and we regularly visit Il Borgo.

a good restaurant again in Nuenen, the village of Van Gogh the famous painter tel +31 40 2952486
Took my wife for dinner here on a quiet Sunday evening in December 2016.
Parking no problem on the main street.
Friendly reception and consistent, friendly and unobtrusive service.
Servers seemed knowledgeable enough about the food and wine without trying to impress by telling a long story.
I think definitely worth a second visit - I liked this place.

While pancake restaurants might be synonymous with children’s parties, this little gem is totally different. Housed in what looks like a very old pub, the building oozes atmosphere. Apart from the modern beer-pumps, the place looks like it has been untouched for the last 100 years, with even the staff wearing period costumes. The little front room is packed with memorabilia from what looks like several generations of priests, probably related to the church next door (also worth a visit).
The menu boasts a huge range of pancakes, and if you can’t find what you want, you can order it anyway! They taste great, and come in decent portions, leaving most diners satisfied but not over-filled. Staff are friendly yet efficient, and there is a good selection of drinks with the meals.
Although slightly of the beaten track, this restaurant should find a place on your itinerary if possible.

Bar Bistro D'n Truffel is located just outside the city center and within walking distance of Carlton De Brug. Our starters are all 5, - each. So you can create your own delicacy. Or just order one by one. We also have wonderful tender steaks but also other main courses. Fancy a drink? Of course you can do that with us. Choose a nice glass of wine or one of the many beers we serve. We will also have some nice barfood. In short, something for everyone. Look at our website for the current menu. See you soon
Went here for a meal on a stay in Mierlo prior to an Andre Rieu concert visit with Newmarket. Pleasant small restaurant with outdoor Seating, efficient service and a reasonable choice of meals. A bit expensive but quality and quantity both very good. If we are ever in this area again, I would not hesitate to return.

Just on the edge of the town centre, this is a small restaurant decorated in Greek style. It's done very well and has a nice atmosphere. The young waitress was very welcoming and friendly. There is quite a large menu for a small place all in Dutch. Fortunately for those things I couldn't understand I had a Dutch speaker with me. I ordered the soup of the day to start which was a Minestrone style and very good. My Partner ordered the Tzatsziki with bread which was very large, easily enough for two to share. My main was a Lamb "stew" (No. 72 on the menu), served with Greek Salad. Very good. My partners dish was a Meze style plate with meat, rice, chips, and some other bits on. Also good. With a 1/2 litre of a quite nice white wine the bill was E56. Worth a visit if in the area.
