This restaurant has been recommended by my boyfriend's sister who goes to Menfi every summer with the entire family. It's a great choice! We truly enjoyed our evening! Il Vigneto is a hotel with a quite modern look where they also produce their wine. The restaurant has a very nice Terrace, looking over the patio. Great service. The food is very good and fresh. We ordered octopus salad, muscles in a tomato sauce as a starter. For main course we decided to try their specialities. Definitely is a fish couscous (they didn't make it every day so please make sure they have it on the menu) and farfalle pasta with shrimps and orange sauce. Delicious!
Interesting and reasonable wine list full of local producers.
Very pleasant evening ! Highly recommend this place.

A restaurant that is an extension of our home kitchen. A space where chef Angelo Pumilia reinterprets the fabric of our family tradition, the pure flavours of Sicily, the products of local farmers and growers and the infinite food culture of this magical island.
Delightful dining on an open-air Terrace overlooking vineyards and olive groves in the center of a plantation - stunning views at sunset. Sicilian cuisine prepared with modern flair and imagination with super-fresh local ingredients. Wine pairings - all featuring Planeta vintages - are wonderful and sometimes surprising. The staff are friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

The day after we arrived in Cefalu, Sicily, we drove to Menfi to meet, for the first time, newly discovered relatives of my wife. They were so happy to meet us, and we were very excited as well. They drove us down to this beautiful place, not far from the beach, and treated us to the most wonderful meal we had in our 3 week Sicilian/Italian vacation. We had a 3 course meal and the food just kept on coming. First there were some finger foods typically Sicilian, then mussels on a plate of Sicilian pasta with chunks of swordfish, and a tasty shrimp on a bed of risotto. The next plate had a different type of shrimp, with a swordfish steak and the best calamari I have ever tasted. The wine was made in the local Mandrarossa winery, and was the first white wine I have ever liked. "Costadune Grecanico " is all I can remember, and I wish that I could find it here in the U.S. The restaurant is beautiful inside and out. It is roomy and can accomodate large groups (and there is outside dinlng as well). This is a destination we will visit again.

Ristorante aelf service situato nella zona industriale/commerciale di Menfi.
Driving from Trapani to Agrigento we found this place thanks to the local TripAdvisor community. Thank you! There's choice of very tasty home-made food for everyone's liking. I had the octopus salad and rabbit with a salad, my partner lasagna and chicken scaloppes with roasted potatoes and peas. It is open on Sunday which was an extra bonus.

Our restaurant invites you to taste our delicious plates served with mussels, octopus, spaghetti with mussels, shrimp, cuttlefish, shrimp orechette pasta with pesto and pistachios, and lots of fresh fish and lobster Porto Palo ... there Waiting !Open all the year.
Some things never change really. Salisa looks like a pop-up restaurant but is actually an establishment. The food is culinairy, tastefull and comes in big portions (eg coze and pasta portions serve easily two people). Best place so far in south-west Sicily.

Delicious food, warm friendly atmosphere, staff lovely and welcoming.
Service impeccable; professional, efficient: they attended to our every need.
We ordered a range of starter dishes all of which were full of great Sicilian flavour. For the main course, the boar pasta was extremely delicious, rich tasty meat cooked to perfection.
All in all, I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. Fantastic food, pleasant ambience, lovely staff. Ideal for tourists wanting to experience a great Sicilian menu. You will certainly not be disappointed.

Planeta estate sent us to this restaurant for pizza in Sciacca. We loved the pizza, the atmosphere, the owner, and all the local families that filled the restaurant. We were the only tourists. Great local pizza and food. If you want to feel like your with locals, and eat good food, come here. The mussels coming out of the kitchen looked fantastic, but I was full from the pizza.

Returning from the beach or a tour of our magnificent territory will definitely be a stop in our welcoming locale, Regina D'Alabastro (located in the small square next to the Municipal Library of Menfi) to delight your Vs palate with good food based on Local produce and fresh fish carefully prepared by the Rosary Chef. In addition, the care and choice of genuine ingredients will delight you with an excellent pizza prepared by Pizzaiolo Angelo. You will be welcomed by Mrs. Carmela's good owner Will make you feel comfortable. As a last resort you will always have the choice of seasonal fruit, a fresh fruit salad, an ice cream or a dessert prepared by the good craftsmen of the place.
We wanted to have a local experience and set out a few miles from our deluxe accommodations at La Foresteria, to explore the nearby town of Menfi. We asked an elderly gentlemen on the street where to eat and he directed us to the pizzeria, Regina d"Alabstro. We enjoyed a variety of different foods…caprese salad, artichokes, sicilian pizza, pasta with swordfish, veal chop, spaghetti bolognese. Somewhat of a smorgasbord, but very satisfying and tasty for a very reasonable price. Considering our language barrier, service was excellent. Always adds to the travel experience to eat where and what the locals eat.
