Within walking distance of Chacras de Coria and surrounded by a unique atmosfere, Clos de Chacras winery offers the very best of its production, together with an elaborate cuisine, in order to create an unforgettable experience
We had signed up for the bodega tour and wine tasting but showed up late and missed the tour and tasting. Nicolas was incredibly hospitable, personally showing us around the entire facility and having us try some wines, and refusing to accept any money from us. Excellent service and terrific wines..

The restaurant opened its doors in 2004 and has developed an international reputation for its delicious Argentine menu. Located in the property Familia Zuccardi owns in Maipú, Mendoza, Casa del Visitante is a five star restaurant with capacity for 80 people. It is a carefully designed building where regional and natural materials dominate, creating a warm environment. From all tables people can enjoy the vineyard and mountain views. Head chef Matias Aldasoro offers two menu options: A traditional menu features key Argentine fare such as empanadas, a barbecue selection, salads, and grilled vegetables. The tasting menu is a gourmet option with emphasis of presenting regional and seasonal products.
Very nice, I went to have lunch in it on a week day, too bad I could not eat so much, for there were many cuts of meat, plus empanadas, grilled vegetables, couvert, four kinds of wine and dessert. I liked very much the couvert,...MoreDear Bruna, Thank you very much for your comment. We are glad you know you enjoyed lunch at Casa del Visitante. Hope to see you again on your next visit to Mendoza!

We popped into Ditommaso on the way through Maipu. Just in time for a tour we managed to ascertain (our Spanish is embarrassing) we took the wine flight, and tour of the vineyard in English with our very helpful guide. Really interesting little setup, quite different to the huge, shiny Bodegas. Ditomasso is more or less made for tourism, lovely vineyard and very informative.
We had lunch with wine for not a lot of money. Really simple, really good fresh pasta dishes. Exactly what you need for a day of wine tasting.
We ummed and arrred about whether to take some wine and decided against it in the end, a mistake as it is basically only available from the vineyard, it would've made a great souvenir.

Club Tapiz Resto, under the direction of the prestigious Soledad Nardelli (#21 best Latin America chef and Chef l'Avenir from the International Gastronomic Academie in Paris), offers an experience of regional tastes inspired by our on premise organic vegetable garden as well as fruits and walnuts obtained from other Tapiz estates.
The restaurant is located in a winery/hotel. It pairs food with wines produced locally. The setting is very nice, a wine tasting before meal with the manager is excellent, and the food and wine pairings were spot on. The servers were knowledgeable and friendly. I would highly recommend it.

The area is a gastronomic Melesca, warm and rustic, where the guest feels comfortable, at home. Run by the owners offers homemade food, wine and meats to pastas with a beta italoargentina excellent, all accompanied by excellent wines from the zona.Ademas we have the best prices on wine roads.
Nice Restaurant, good food, excellent service.
What a nice place, with good food and excellent service, people are really friendly here and make you feel welcome.
After visiting several bodegas where we sometimes got the impression that they are on "auto pilot", this place is a relief.
Open from 10 to 18, with reservaton also during the evening.

We took a taxi from Mendoza to the winery and enjoyed their (complimentary) guided tour and a generous tasting of their excellent wines before having lunch in the elegant restaurant. As others already mentioned, their empanadas are amoung the best in the whole country and the salad was fresh as if it had been just picked from the garden with a their own olive oil. They offer wines by the glass as more than competing prizes. A really relaxing meal and a wonderful wine-country experience.

Development of organic and natural wines in biodynamic culture and olive oils in organic culture.
In the middle of Bodega's Cecchin organic vineyards there is a nice restaurant with colorful and rustic decorations that is apparently the Ideal place to match the wineries excellent organic wines with local and International delicases!!! The chef Victor Hugo, apart from being an Extra interesting persona, has a classic pfilosophy free from new age molicular and tiring gourmet ideas. Uses real fresh and good products and trying to work on their real savors. Try the trout on butter with Cecchin chardonnay, the biffe de chorizo with Malbec Oak, and home made flan with Moscato Espuante.
Kicking! Strongly recommended!

Welcome to “Casa de Campo”Welcome to our home. A humble and rustic place like the one we lived in when we were small. The place of open arms, with the mud oven; the house of the Mendoza viticulture man, who at 6 AM was out in the vineyard before sunrise working until sundown. The house of the home-made bread and cured ham, the house of the “mate”, the house that at 11 AM starts to smell of home-made food, the house whose dishes invite you to a nostalgia of “remember how grandma used to make it”. Welcome to plain and simple ...... to freshly made, to home-made, to a friendly atmosphere; to listen to our folklore, to having a good time.Welcome to tradition, to the regional cuisine ...... to something different; to the chopped pickles and improvised snacks, to the mud-oven baked piglet or rabbit, to the home made empanadas and the home-made desserts, all accompanied by some of the finest wines of Mendoza.Welcome to Casa de Campo; not a restaurant, but a place where we transport ourselves back in time to the times where everything was homemade and healthy, to a time we would all love to go back to.
We loved Casa De Campo a very reasonable price with delicious set menu's we even went to the cella to choose our very good Malbec. We came back twice to this restaurant. Extremely authentic up market food and good chefs. George the owner went out of his way when we arrived to help with our accommodation and even walked us to the accommodation and he speaks good english. The staff are very good and speak a little English however we spoke un poco espanol. Real rustic Argentina food and some of the best food in Maipu and beautiful Malbec's we had in the region. The atmosphere and architecture is brilliant and lots of families from the local area come here. A lovely experience with friendly staff. Definitely don't miss out on this culinary experience. Muchos Gracias George and staff Salude! We hope to see you again Viva Argentina! Lindsay y Matt McConnon from Melbourne Australia

This little cafe is awesome. We were in Mendoza staying at a small lodge down the road and ended up eating here twice in 2 days. The food was amazing and all homemade; pizzas, amazing empenadas, etc. Also, it's completely owned/ran by an awesome eclectic...MoreThank you very much for your review, I'm so glad you liked my place and the food because I love very much what I do here and to share this experiences!

Located in the Maipu farm, in front of the olive mill and extraction area with the latest technology and only feet from the olive plantations, Pan y Oliva is the second gastronomic Enterprise of the Zuccardi Family and is a part of the ample touristic offerings through Casa del Visitante. It's essence can be summed up in three concepts: Restaurant - Delicatessen - Classroom. Pan y Oliva has a style that is drastically different than that of the Casa del Visitante, being much more informal making olive oil the prominent product. Tapas, pastas, salads and homemade dishes prepared with fresh and seasonal ingredients, have a relevant place in unstructured gastronomy, and in which it is easy to notice Mediterranean and regional influences.
We went to Pan y Oliva as an alternative to the other Zuccardi restaurant, which we understand is more formal and less kid-friendly. The food was outstanding - lots of variety to choose from, portion sizes were generous (compared to what we're used to at other wineries), dishes were creative and delicious, and the wine was outstanding. We also thought the value was outstanding - lunch was very reasonably priced for what it was. We came with a large group (about 16 people, 6 of which were kids) and the only reason I'm not giving a 5 start rating is because of the service. The servers seemed to be a bit inexperienced and at several points they were confused (brought another table's order to us, missed some of the drinks we ordered, brought things out then back in again, etc.). Granted there were a lot of people and kid distractions! On the bright side, we enjoyed the food and wine immensely, hung around the grounds (kids explored and had a great time) and ended up buying a bunch of amazing olive oil and wine to take back with us, which we are still savouring and thinking of Zuccardi!
