Seven Islands is a nice restaurant in the centre of Lygia, although a bit hidden on the upper coastal area because it's a walk away from the main port. Its owners speak fluent German, Greek, English and Dutch and I would not be surprised if they speak Italian as well considering their menu's were quadrilingual (Greek, English, Dutch, Italian). This makes for an easy dining experience, no translating menu's necessary here. The Dutch woman running the waiting staff is well informed on what flavours pair well together and will always try and make the dish you choose into a tasty experience.
We went here twice, once during a windy summer storm, and were pleasantly surprised that a warm, wood furnace inside provided shelter from the elements outside. The second time, the weather allowed for casual dining outside on the shore with some really romantic views.
Prices range from 5-10 euros for starters and 10-20 euros for mains, overall acceptable prices for the quality that's served. Try the mixed grill plates (they have several different ones) and the shrimp cocktail!

Dined at this restaurant most evenings and some lunch times. Staff were friendly and efficient. Food was excellent, large portions and excellent value for money and always got complimentary cake and fruit. One of the best restaurants we have been to in Greece over 20 years. Due to popularity always best to book or get there early.

"Kanioria" is a family restaurant located at the seafront.Nothing can be compared with dining at such a peaceful and beautiful place. Olive oil and fresh ingredients are used for our recipes. Try locally caught fish at reasonable prices here. House and regional wines are excellent. Dessert is always available.
Great food hadn't all including fussy teenagers, beautiful spot to dine, service great and so relaxed.

Make sure you come to this small sweet shop to try loukoumadaki which is very similar to
Turkish lokma. But they don't serve it in the syrip, instead they put honey or chocolate on the top and ice cream next to it. It's a delicious must!!

We have been there 2 times in 2 days. Mussaka is amazing, the pizza is very good. Wine 0.5 kg for 3 euro. We simply loved it, there is always full of people, but they will find a place for you. Easy restaurant but you feel they really care about you in there. Prices are very low, we recommend it!

We liked very much the food (we tried mostly seafood), the ambience was nice, with direct view over the port, with it's leisure and fishing boats. From there you can see the fishermen preparing to catch tomorrow's freash seafood:)

We stayed in Lefkada for a week and this traditional taverna was one of the most charming places we ate in. Although it is on the road the location is great, situated in a small harbour full of fishermen boats, the water becomes pinkish in the evening and it's so calm that you don't even hear a splash, open space... The restaurant is a family business and is visited mainly by locals which is always a sign for good food, reasonably priced. And the food was really good, everything we had was fresh and tasty. We came back two times. If you are looking for a quiet, non touristic, authentic place with good food, I definitely recommend this restaurant!

Taverna Pantheon is located in the beautiful Village of Nikiana in Lefkada island. With a spectacular view of the Ionian sea offers excellent tastes of traditional greek plates and hospitality. Just 10 minutes away from the main town it's an ideal place to have your meal in a very quiet and green place with good prices and magnificent sea view as you can see in the photos.
It's the best place to taste unbelievably delicious food.
If there is a Greek Goddess of the food ..definitely Christina is her grand daughter.
Go there and let to Paul to gives you a sit ...brings you a drink and wish you "Enjoy your meal" ..the view is outstanding..and at the end you will be dizy from the magical explosion of Seaview + Christina's food + Paul's sweet talks ...

You would never expect this adorable garden in the backyard of the kitchen. Owners are very (very!) kind and service is very quick. Food is ok although every restaurant in Lefkada seems to serve weird giant octopus which are not very tender. Moussaka is fantastic and the place, even without seaview, is very charming and quite. Prices are fair.

I will start with the positive as they will not take long. Nice location right in front of the sea and very polite stuff. We went there for lunch on August 14 and ordered -among other- small fish such as fried calamari (squid) and sardines....Morewelcome ...........
