Great formules, even in the evening. Vin de table perfectly acceptable. Nice place. Nice staff. I like.

This place is nothing but pretentious and unfortunately they are not able to live up to their aspirations.
Situated in a small village with little competition, the owners of this aptly named place set out to produce something stylish for the haute volée, with the aim of catering to those who deem themselves gourmets or at least as something better than the rest populating the pittoresque town. The prices are adventurous and raise hopes for matched quality, just to crush them with the food they serve. If you are in a situation similar to ours -- hungry in search for a place to eat late at night -- try to get by with a bag of chips or nuts and wine from the bar opposite of this restaurant.
I thought nothing could go wrong with an entrecôte. We are in France after all. So I ordered it a point, which means that it is cooked but there will be a pink center. I didn't make this up, that is the definition of the term. Yet I got it completely cooked through, a tasteless slab of animal fat and protein. I pointed this out to La Madame who then instructed me that here, in their place, that is what they think a point shall be. Never have I heard something more ridiculous in a restaurant. Needless to say there was no attempt by La Madame to try to change the situation -- like cook another steak for me in their rare, which would be equivalent to the a point of everybody else, or offer some desert on the house, or ate leat apologize.
The wine was mediocre, too, and massively overpriced. In the end, there was no apology and nobody wondered why I didn't eat my steak. No surprise here.
The dish of my companion was acceptable, but not for the price they charged.

We had been driving around village to village looking at property, sites, churches, sceneries and then the hunger called. We stopped in this village called Lunel and I am not into the pretentious and there were a couple of places that gave us the look over so we veered them. Then just as we head towards the church, I hear echoing through the street old french music and we stumble onto this lovely lovely restaurant. It smelt of Caramel, there were lovely flowers and the tables and chairs were perfect for a hot sunny day. The place was everything you dream of sitting in a village drinking wine and eating...well french - sounds unoriginal but it was great! I had Salmon and hubby had the Steak and large portions. The whole affair was delicious as was our wine and then dessert was just as lovely! It was a great lunch and hope one day to go back! The Restaurant is in the old Church and it was part of the Compostela de Camino - the Way of St. James. History, Friendly staff and fantastic food....what more can you ask for in France?

On our way to Toulouse - we stopped in Lunel where we had a great experience at le Bistrot de Caro ... We had sausages made local style and really enjoyed our meal! Fast, simple but tasty is all one should expect, while visiting such a small town. Le bistrot de Caro deserves all the good rating it has already received!

We first ate here a couple of years ago and loved it. It was great to return and have another brilliant meal. The courtyard restaurant has been smartened up since our first visit and was really pleasant to sit in. The food is excellent - a combination of French ingredients with a Thai fusion mix. I had a wonderful salad with Thai flavours and lacquered duck which was to die for. Can't wait for our next visit.

There were very few restaurants open on a Sunday evening in this area - and when we stumbled across this unassuming looking Indian restaurant, we weren't expecting much - especially as we're used to having so many excellent Indian restaurants on our doorstep in London. However, the food was really delicious - very fresh ingredients. The owner was extremely welcoming and friendly. All in all, a lovely experience!

Found this fab little place. Recommended by some kind French people who could see we were wandering happlessly along. Loomed st the reviews and one did complain about the wait. Bit that all about being on holiday. It's all prepared to order. Just a few staff who do t speak English bit try very hard to accommodate . Lively pasta (pate) and tapas. Would defo recommend.
