Luganville is the second largest city of Vanuatu, a South Pacific island nation. There’s so much to explore here, whether it’s hiking amid the awesome beauty of Millennium Cave or an epic dive session at the shipwrecked SS President Coolidge. When it’s time to relax, take a dip in one of the area’s peaceful blue holes, sapphire pools of calm water.

Enjoy the freshest of local seafoods and famous organic Santo steaks overlooking the beautiful Segond Channel. Your dining experience is one to remember and one to recommend.
We came up here for a nice breakfast on our travels. Food is basic and nice. All homemade. I had a Devonshire tea, but its different to Australias...its butter and jam -but no cream. John had the bacon and eggs which was nice. Clean and friendly place.

Oyster Island Resort Restaurant - 100% waterfront, set overlooking the tranquil waters of Peterson Bay, Oyster Island is elegant yet casual, serving only 100% Organic Fresh Island Grown and Market Fresh Produce, Sustainable locally caught seafood, and the famous Organic Santo Beef. Weather its a romantic 3 course wine matched special occasion, or a sand between your toes casual lunch, Oyster Island caters to all. Our Sunday BBQ Lunch Buffet is legendary - featuring local live music, and too many dishes to mention. Reservations essential. Drive north on the east coast road until you come to the sign, drive through the village to the 'landing'. Bang the tank to let our boat crew know you need a pick up, and sit back, enjoy the waterfront view, sip a cocktail and let the Oyster Island staff pamper you with the Ni-Vanuatu smiles and hospitality that this country is renown for.
My daughter and I kayaked from the Matevulu blue hole to oyster island and stopped over for lunch.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was rather expensive for the quality but that seemed to be quite common in all of Santo.
The water, beach and restaurant area were great and is definitely a must see for visitors!

Hi Beverley
Having been caught in a cyclone and being evacuated to Village de Santo without hardly any notice, what a lovely surprise.
Evening dining with you was a wonderful experience.
You made our time with you special including your team, excellent service - thank you

The location of this restaurant (part of the Moyyen House by the Sea resort) is absolutely stunning.
We had lunch here a couple of times, and personally i think coming for lunch is better than dinner, because you get to look at the stunning blue bay from the lovely decking area. In fact sitting there until sunset to move onto a glass of wine was even better.
The lunch menu was varied and had some choices at a reasonable price, which we thoroughly enjoyed.
We looked at the evening menu, which looked absolutely delicious, but we couldn't afford the prices, everything started at 3000 vatu upwards at least per dish.
We were able to appreciate this beautiful place at the lunch time prices, and presume that the people lucky enough to stay at this resort would also be able to enjoy the evening dinner prices too. Or if this is your kind of budget then it makes for an excellent special night.
For us it was a bus back to Luganville town centre, to enjoy the excellent Jardin des Saveurs for an evening meal.

Located in the same street as Aquamarine Dive centre
Per previous reviewer, we really didn't know what to expect when you first sight the place from the street, however when you first walk inside you are pleasantly surprised by the clean quaint ambience and friendly manager. So much wonderful food to choose from, however, we went for some share dishes; the chicken, beef and the best dish of all the smokey bbq port....wow what a taste sensation! I loved it so much I chased the manager's mother (head chef) into the kitchen to give her a great hug....Such a great time we had. Very much recommend this restaurant.

We had lunch on our first day on Santo at Natangora Café and were pleasantly surprised. There is a good selection of Good Honest Food which is well cooked and presented.Salad was of a generous size and fresh and tasty.Good value for money and by far the best restaurant meal we had on Santo.

Why is this a meeting place for all the ex-pats? Because it is the best place in town for coffee and the friendliest service anywhere. There is free WiFi and always someone there for a chat.

Sadly the restaurant is badly impacted by administration. Apart from being mostly deserted, when we ordered sparkling water we were told by staff to check if it was ok as it had sat for so long (it wasn't ok!).
The staff are nice but with no customers or turnover of stock it just doesn't work.

We are a small Coffee Shop dedicated to selling our own locally grown Coffee from Aore Island Coffee Plantation. We roast our coffee in our Cafe and it cant get any fresher.. We also sell beans for you to take on your travels or to your home in Santo. We also offer Free Wifi and are airconditioned.
Having visited here the last couple of times, I finally decided to review it. Outstanding Coffee as it's grown on the owners farm and roasted in the café! Talk about fresh.... Great breakfasts and nibbles as everything is home made. This is a MUST if you come to Luganville.
