Fabulous find smack in the middle of the road between Santiago and La Serna just 2 hours north of either point. Entrance available from both northbound and southbound directions of the Ruta 5. Amazing ocean views and even better food options for family style sharing like pizzas and pastas as well as a la carte selections of fresh regional fish and seafood as well as delicious prime steaks.
The restaurant at the top of the cliff has a fantastic view, and then you have the 'champagne bar' right next to the waves, a most amazing scenery.
This restaurants caters most for lunch, we had dinner there were few people; altough watching sunset at the champagne bar is absolutely worthy

Don't expect any complex or strange dishes here, simple meat, fish or chicken with rice, fries or mashed potatoes, but all of a high quality. I got a "vieja" that was great, the kids got chicken and meat, both great tasting and fresh. Overall a very good deal, details taken care of, good quality olive oil, tables clean and so on. Also has a nice view of the sea. If I could mention anything that could be improved (for the owners), it would be that it was a bit cold and I was not tempted to take my jacket off, other than that a great experience and can, of course, recommend the place.

Smart premises, excellent food, friendly helpful service, good view of the bay. A bit more expensive than some other places in town, but worth it for the quality.

El Bogarin sits on a corner near the sea front in Los Vilos - I was able to choose a table from which I could see a bit of the bay. The food is typically Chilean with some seafood: I ended up with deep fried conger with rice in a huge portion, which may not have been the best choice, and probably wasn't locally caught. Service was friendly, although no English is spoken.

Standard autskirt chileanean restaurant nothing special and prices for the maindishes like a hipster restaurant. But the best in town so far.
