Loreto (Spanish pronunciation: [loˈɾeto]) is Peru's northernmost region. Covering almost one-third of Peru's territory, Loreto is by far the nation's largest region; it is also one of the most sparsely populated regions due to its remote location in the Amazon Rainforest. Its capital is Iquitos.

The restaurant is a little bit far from the rest of Iquitos turistic area but it is worth the ride. They serve typical food from the region (like "Juanes", a rice dish).
The dishes are delicious and generous (the "chuletas" for example are very big). We were a group of ten and we all left the place happy and full...
Don't miss it !

I saw a sign for maracuya mousse—OMG! Yes, please. And there was a board stating it was “2x1” for either chocolate or maracuya mousse. I was so excited, but what they brought me was probably yogurt—in consistency/texture, it was identical to yogurt; I was so disappointed. Not that it wasn’t flavorful, but it definitely wasn’t mousse!
I can’t comment on the other menu items and I didn’t get a second or get charged less for one.
The furniture and decor were kind of cool despite being super dark during daytime.

The restaurant caught our eye. This is a brightly lit pub in one of the side streets of Plaza de Armas (Square of Arms). Tables on the street. For decoration some strange exhibits, posters, photographs. The name which here, in Iquitos it is hard to expect.
We started by finding out what we can have and what is recommended by the place. I chose a crocodile ceviche and my partner unknown for us Amazon fish called "Paiche". They also have Ayahuasca menu.
We got even a starter !!! The only time in Peru !!! These were chips from a plane with two sauces. Yam-yam. Our two courses - great. The fish wrapped in banana leaf was incredibly good. Crocodile nice and soft. On top of this cold beer. Serving waitress without fault. We payed 90 Pesos
A day later, due to lack of another interesting restaurant we returned. We do it very rarely. We were welcomed as old customers.
This time, of course, we had other dishes. Local fishes, but differently prepared. Food again was very good.

Breakfast & lunch, homemade food and vegetarian food
Great little joint, very popular understandably with Iquitos residents. A/c environment, interesting mural on the wall in the middle room with Spanish translations of some local words. Swift, friendly service. Huge portions (if you get through a soup first course you'll be lucky to finish the main course) with meat, fish and veggie options. Cold beer available as well as juice, water and sodas. Pay at the cash desk on the way out. Best "menu" in town (ie. a lunchtime set menu with some options) but not the cheapest.

Taking care of the health of our client is our priority! That is why purified water and high standards of hygiene are the most important ingredients of our recipe for pure, safe, healthy meals!
Tasty, healthy and reasonable price for the quality of food and excellent hygiene. We returned twice and everything was delicious. Nice juices, smoothies and awesome selection. The vegetarian fajitas were incredible and the fish Sandwich was delish. Also the location is perfect at sunset.lwjubeck, thanks a lot for a wonderful review and recommendation, we appreciate it very much and obviously encourage us to keep going on in our goal. All the best..

For breakfast one can find different salty pastrys and in the evening a diverse offer of carbon roasted skewers.
It might move up a gear with meat dishes maybe. It was OK across the board as vegetarian if I'm honest. The stand out dish was the cheese with peach (I think it was peach!).
It's basically a load of kebab skewers with various options for all that are BBQed once you've chosen what you wanted. As a vegetarian I had:-
A Potato Skewer
A Cheese and Peach (?) Skewer
A Cheese and Pineapple Skewer
A Mixed Veg Skewer
A Mushroom Skewer
A load of meat options are available as I said so go visit. It's a nice little option and different from the norm. My norm anyway.

An oasis of tranquility in the heart of bustling Iquitos.Comfy sofas,Art gallery great coffee, fresh juices,Vegetarian food, cocktails,Mediterranean Tapas,Thai and Indian curries, free Wi Fi, library, games and some truly inspirational live music every saturday night .Come on in and unwind...
How is this place so highly rated? The food was terrible, no seasoning on any of our 3 meals. There is no good Seating, plenty of psychedelic paintings on the walls though. The place is just uncomfortable, with some guy banging his musical instruments and...More.l.

We took a skiff to the floating restaurant and it was a very unique and strange place. It has a pool and it seemed like a lot of people were there to hang out at the pool and drink. We had a coursed lunch and enjoyed the food and cocktails. It was a nice place to spend the afternoon and eat. We came here as the first stop on our Amazon River boat cruise with Aqua Expeditions.

House made bread. Breakfast, sandwiches. Real expresso. Argentine beef. Salmon and tuna steaks. Belgian Chocolate. French Wines. French Champagne. In an old style café de Paris in Iquitos ! Open from 6:00 am to late at night.WiFi
The Amazon bistro is a reasonable spot to grab European style food, but don't expect it to serve up much in the way of local cuisine as the name might suggest.
Prices are reasonable, the service is friendly and prompt. The restaurant delivers a relaxed and homely atmosphere.
In terms of drinks, beer is good value at 8 soles for a large Cristal, but wine was too expensive to feature for our group.
The food was OK not fantastic, so our party was in no rush to return during our trip.
