...denn die leckeren Tortellini und das freundliche Personal reißen das von außen nicht ganz so hübsche Gebäude wieder raus.
Wir haben nicht lange auf unsere Getränke gewartet und die Kinder bekamen fix ihre Pommes. Die Bedienung war freundlich, das Restaurant modern und schick eingerichtet.
Wir hatten die Tortellini mit Gorgonzola-Sauce und fanden diese sehr lecker. Und, das sei dabei gesagt, wir sind häufig in vielen verschiedenen Häusern essen und bewerten. Die total schlechten Bewertungen können wir nicht teilen. Die Karte könnte vllt etwas kleiner, aber dafür muss man keine Punkte abziehen.
Preislich ebenfalls in Ordnung. Empfehlen wir auf jeden Fall weiter.

We went to N6 before a concert. It's only 10 minutes away from the main concert hall at the beginning of the pedestrianised area. The food and ambience was great, albeit a touch salty. We had a Mediterranean fish platter which could not have been better in Croatia. The staff were very friendly.

Leider standen wir heute zum dritten Mal vor verschlossener Tür. Zur Mittagszeit wird wohl nur noch nach Belieben geöffnet.
Schade. Ein weiteres Mal werden wir ganz sicher nicht enttäuscht - da wir mittags nur noch woanders hingehen werden.

Lingen is rather a small town and food is not very special regardless where you go, however this one has been around for a few years and I always go when I visit every two years. Staff is friendly, prices are reasonable and food is excellent. Not worth travelling to Lingen just for this restaurant but if you happen to come past this small little racist town you may as well visit :)

Meine Lieblingskneipe, das Lingener "Litfass" steht mit 2 Etagen, mittig zwischen dem Marktplatz und dem Universitätsplatz und genau gegenüber Bücher "Holzberg" in der Clubstrasse. Die kleine, gemütliche Rustikalkneipe, in derauch die Raucher/innen im Winter nicht frieren müssen, da sich im ersten Stock ein Versammlungsraum für ca. 25 Personen befindet, der, wenn keine spezielle Veranstaltung ist,auch zum "SCHMÖKEN und KLÖNEN" genutzt werden kann.Blues, Jazz, Funk...ein bisschen Latino, Beatles, Stones und vieles dazwischen tönt aus den Boxen ...aber gerne auch mal Live~Musik.Getränke (auch zu Studentenpreisen): Bitburger Pils, Emsländer hell oder dunkel (Privatbrauerei Lünne) Franziskaner Weizen, klassische Heißgetränke wie auch Alkoholfreies, diverse Weinsorten, Sekt und die gängigen "spirituellen Drinks" Natürlich gibt es auch kleine, bierbegleitendeSpeisen. Na dann: Herzlich Willkommen zu einem geselligen Abend im Litfass ! :)

Urige kleine Kneipe in einer Seitengasse. Im Sommer mit Tischen draußen. Toller Service durch ein eingespieltes Team.

I am not a connaisseur of the Indian cuisine, but compared to several Indian restaurant visits in the UK and also compared to other restaurant visits in Lingen, Hari's Indian restaurant was not performing as expected and certainly not proving to be the #1 restaurant in Lingen. Was the head chef out? Has there been a recent change in kitchen staff or owners?
However, the atmosphere is spot on and the staff is very helpful and friendly.
But most important is the food experience, of course. With a group of 4 we started with 30, 37, 39 and 40 (chutneys and various types of nans). Only #40, the Kheema nan offered great tastes. The 3 chutneys were OK but not great. For main dishes we had 72, 100, 101 and 106. I had #72, Chicken Tandoori. The chicken was simply much too dry and tastes were average. The vegetables were not impressive either. The saffron rice was the highlight. Despite the nice atmosphere and very charming staff I would not return to this restaurant.

Leider hat das Butcher's, mit viel Interieur einer Fleischerei eingerichtet, nur am Wochenende geöffnet. Die Getränkeauswahl ist für eine Stadt wie Lingen schon sehr groß und der unauffällige, konzentrierte Service- manchmal etwas unterkühlt, immer freundlich - weiß, was zu tun ist. Musik ist modern; mehr Jazz fände ich gut und ein paar Snacks auch. Bester Gin im Umkreis von 100 km! Leckere Cocktails. Weinkarte ausbaufähig. Witzige Biersorten. Eine feine Location!
Übrigens: Fünf "Stolpersteine" vor der Tür erinnern an die früheren Bewohner des Hauses und dunkle Zeiten.

Because of the nice weather I took a table outside. Waiter came quick and took my drink order. He brought the menu which was dressed up like a letter in an envelop, quite nice knowing you are in an old postoffice. Meals are good of size and quality. nothing very special but certainly not a too bad choice. Just give it a try when you are around.
