The food at this restaurant is good but the atmosphere is a bit dull. My husband & I thoroughly enjoyed the asparagus risotto with black truffle. Good service by the wait staff but we both commented that the restaurant has no atmosphere. The restaurant was half full so perhaps it is more lively & fun on busy nights. Too quiet. Perhaps they are trying to appeal to older clientele.

This Italian restaurant is located in the middle of the pedestrian only main street of Gstaad and has been operating for some considerable time now - some 20+ years. Good food and attentive service and perfect to be outside on the Terrace when the sun is out. Decent menu with daily specials and a good wine list. Not inexpensive but nevertheless good value. Definitely worth a visit based on our recent meal there and blankets are available if required to keep you warm. All the dishes we had were very nice although the only negative comment is that the portions served were a little on the small side - OK for lunch perhaps but maybe not at dinner.!!

I recommend this restaurant very highly. We went last week while visiting Gstaad. They offered a choice of seafood that had been caught earlier in the morning and flown in from France. As we live near the ocean in the US, we mostly avoided seafood while inland in Europe, but this was truly fresh! The amuse bouche

This spot is amazing. The panoramic view of the Alps over the Saanenland is breathtaking, especially in the Spring. Family owned and operated with a friendly staff. The food is tasty and well presented. Come hungry! The Terrace is cozy for sunbathing. Good atmosphere, nevertheless, do expect to come across some snobby customers...it is Gstaad, after all.

Beautiful Restaurant with absolutely excellent food. The Ambiance is great and Reservations for dinner are recomended.
The owner (Mr. Glatz), a great Chef and Artist (scissor cuts) organizes different Exhibitions troughout the year and the exhibits are shown in the restaurant and can often be purchased there as well.

Choose between two restaurants: In the Gault Millau (17 points 2012) Restaurant ‘Spettacolo’, each meal is a spectacular experience. Every day there are 15 dishes to choose from. In the restaurant ‘Oh de vie’ we apply the Tapas principle in celebrating the exquisite Mediterranean cuisine.
It took a little bit of finding but we eventually made it up to this lovely restaurant just before the clouds descended and obscured the view. Service was great and the food was simple but tasty. The sharing platter is a great dish to revive you after a morning walking and together with a cold beer there is nothing better.

A journey for the senses... A wide range of culinary delights from around the world are here for you to enjoy with a different selection to choose from every day. Our head chef and his team are here to pamper your palate with the most exquisite delicacies created from the very best ingredients and a great range of regional products, such as meat, milk, cheese, fruit and vegetables – organically farmed, of course.
High german is the main language here (hardly any Swiss staff) - the line between polite and arrogant behaviour is narrow.
The food is typically "gourmet" - means small individual portions, high very high prices for very little complicated food on your plate. They feature basically 3 pages of food items and, estimated, 30 pages of wines to go with it ...

About 1 year ago, I guess, a new team has taken over the Baeren. Great smile when you walk in, reasonable prices and a kitchen knowing their stuff.
We have been four people to go there (without any reservation) - despite everything, they found quickly a table for us.
Menue has a nice variety and everyone found something. Waitresse made us feel at home, so we were almost sad to leave.
Great stop when you are in the area.

Welcome on the most beautiful Terrace of Lenk The Bühlberg team seduces you with popular Swiss meals like organic veal ragout, Älplermagronen and delicious contemporary cuisine, served with selected wines from Switzerland, Italy and other European countries. Enjoy the pleasant mountain hut atmosphere. Whether for a quick lunch with an exceptional view, a small snack for hikers or for a cozy dinner. In winter we enchant you with the finest scents of our Fondue selection.
We had earlier climbed the opposite Mountain path by auto and was given this restaurant as a suggestion by the Swiss cousin of my wife. So we climbed the mountain by auto and found another marvelous view at the top. The food was very good. My wife and I split a large salad, and their veal dish. My in-laws split an enormous fondue pot. Our Swiss cousin had the rosti. My son got the Weinerschnitzel which was the best dish by far. All the food sampled was wonderful. The chef came out to check on us (Marcel...I think was the name). Our chef was a burley East German as friendly as they come. If in Lenk again this stop is a no brainer.
