Nice staff but waited a while to get served and even longer to get our good. Two staff on at lunch time was not enough. We had a mixture of food which was all served streaming hot which I like. My only criticism about the food was the Dahl makhani was not proper Dahl makhani, three Dahls mixed in, bland, tasteless, we didn't finish it and that was disappointing. The rest was delicious, I will definitely go again.

Serving morning coffee and cake, lunch and brunch and fantastic atmospheric dinner with the Yorkshire hospitality. A good vegetarian/vegan selection of dishes. We will see you soon...
Our 1st visit,we had decided to try this little restaurant after Reading all the good reviews, visited early evening on Sunday(mother’s day)we ordered the fish & chips x 2 one lightly battered, when the lady came with our meals she did not know which was the lightly battered fish? Which she should of,the fish was huge but bland not a tasty piece of haddock at all & the chunky chips were disappointing I’m sure they were frozen,I would of thought they would of been homemade, came with a pot of tartare sauce but was just lacking some peas,my other family member had the burger which was delicious a proper meaty tasty burger he asked for the chunky chips instead of the skinny fries & again he was disappointed with the chips he also thought the chips were frozen, but yet on previous photos they don’t look like ours that we were served, the service was good I think we were served by the owners but sorry to say expected better with some of the food after Reading all the good reviews.

We decided to open a hummus and pita bar as we felt that the general public deserved something more than just tubs of supermarket hummus and cardboard pita bread. Having travelled around the Mediterranean and the Middle East sampling great meals based on these two amazing ingredients, we decided it was time to specialise and create a brand where we could encourage people to try the delights of this simple but incredible combination. As a bit of an afterthought we decided to add falafel to the mix and that is now pretty much all that we do at Humpit. Together with our own homemade lemonade, peach ice tea and our new market juice of the day, its all simple, quick, very tasty, affordable and proving to be a hit among Leeds' and Sheffield eaters! Open Monday to Saturday, 11:30am - 5.30pm and on Sunday from 12 noon until 4pm (or until the hummus runs out!). Unfortunately we are unable to take table Reservations in Leeds as the place is very small and the turn-around is generally very fast. Our Sheffield outlet is mainly takeaway but we do have 7 stools for those who would rather eat in and watch the view!
Went here for a weekend lunch - good food with excellent hummus and filled pitta bread- just excellent and well worth a repeat visit

Lupes had been highly recommended and we decided that was where we would eat for our book club Christmas meal. I loved it but not sure that everyone agreed. My starter of the sopa Azteca was delicious-warm, filling, tasty soup on a freezing Monday evening . My main course was the chicken enchiladas served with a really tasty lime sauce. The portion sizes were just right and a range of beers were offered. I can’t wait to return although next time I would find a table away from the draughty door.

We ate here early one Sunday evening and our group of 9 were seated well away from a bigger party including several children. Their behaviour was good but their noise created a strange school-canteen type of atmosphere. Our experience was not spoiled by this however.
It was an almost unanimous approval for food (just my hot and sour vegetable soup had lots of vinegar in). Staff were excellent at offering a replacement or removing the cost from the bill when I explained I like spicy food but not items that smell/taste overpoweringly of vinegar.
No complaints about mains though, everything was excellent in terms of quantity and quality. Food was very tasty and I thoroughly enjoyed the Mixed Special Ginger and Spring Onion dish.
Drinks are priced reasonably and it's possible to have a big blow out for around £20-£25 each.
Plenty of car parking on site and would visit again, as long as I opted for a less well-seasoned soup.
