We have been coming to Tino's for a long time and always delivers good, tasty food and nice service. We love the breaded fish fillets and the stuffed mofongos. Also appreciate the fact that they still serve a very good house salad and bread before dinner. We will keep coming for more

Numerous people recommended this restaurant to me because they had excellent seafood at an affordable price. I was a little disappointed. However, the staff was great. Our waitress was friendly and prompt and the owner went around greeting people at all the tables. I really enjoyed the welcoming attitude of the staff. My wife ordered the Chillo Entero, which was huge and wonderful. I ordered the grilled lobster, which was a nice size but over cooked. I would really like to try this restaurant again because their staff was great and it might of just been an off day for my lobster.

Birthday girl (me) wanted Pika-Pika; we arrived 5pm at 5:54 we were ready for desert. Awesome margarita frozen to start & queso fundido (spectacular; ask for the hot sauce). We ordered enchiladas with Mexican rice and refried, fajitas mixtas, churrasco and papas salteadas; vanilla custard, fried cheesecake with guava & 3 leches. ALL OF IT WAS ESPECTACULAR! All $131; 3 people. Great service too!

This is a family-run establishment of long-standing in the area. The fish dishes are the centerpiece of the menu, although the menu also offers steaks and a variety of Puerto-Rican favorites. If you order fish, you'll be asked if you want it "whole" or "sliced." The latter is served as fish steaks, or thick slabs cut crosswise, across the spine. Either way, whole or sliced, you should be prepared to do your own de-boning. Portions are large; if you order appetizers first, order sparingly and plan on sharing. Don't be reluctant to order your fish battered and fried -- it's what local kitchens do best.
Service is very obliging.

This is one of the most popular Bakery/restaurants in town. They serve really good lunch and have an amazing selection of pastries.

Don Quijote restaurant is one of those places that stays the same over the years and you can rely on that. Is not a fancy place but a traditional one. The food taste great and the prices stay great too. Last visit I ordered the daily special, mofongo y caldo con masitas de pollo. The monfongo is not the best I have tried but it was good. Also, my kid ordered masitas de pollo with mashed potatoes and salads. Very good too. I rate the restaurant 3 because it's normal. It's a solid place, always full of people.

It's very popular in the island, so it's a stop you can't miss if you are in Mayaguez or near by. They have the brazo gitano, the guayaba is the most famous, but they also have it with different fillings. I found the little shop cute & unique. They also have some other puertorrican candies, honey, coffee, sangrias for sale. It's a good place to buy some souveniers if you are visiting. They also have a panaderia/ cafeteria at the back of the store were you can sit and have breakfast and/or lunch. I liked it.

After a average lunch at Mayagüez we need something sweet and ask for a place. Locals seems to love this place... so lets try it.
I will said: Worst "helado" ever.
We try our named versions: Watery Coconut (no so sweet) & Muddy Chocolate Brownie (granulated)
The Only Good are the Prices, thats the reason probably locals like it. Don't Know Why!
As and old friend said: "Oops... I did it again!"
(Sorry no picts, was so fast we threw it to the closets trash can.)

Located in a 1887 coffee Hacienda. We offer a gastronomic experience enhanced by a botanical agro-tour, followed by the tasting dinner (8 courses)meal filled with only fresh and local ingredients. Chef Ventura Vivoni presents a new menu every weekend based on a seasonal inspiration. Finished with a cup of their local fresh coffee and a historical tour inside the old house. Available by reservation only.
Vida Ventura Restaurant is my favorite Restaurant in Puerto Rico. From its rural location at the heart of the Mountains, its excellent Chef Ventura, charming owners and host family to its carnival of excellent and creative dishes... it is a fantastic, relaxing experience.

Mahi Mahi Restaurant
This is a wonderful spot close to Rincon.
They offer a number of dishes that are grilled or baked. A welcome respite to alot of fried food options in PR.
We had a couple of kinds of fish tacos that were spot on.
The service was prompt and they were happy to have us there.
The restaurant is new and clean. A place it is easy to hang out at.
I would go back.
