I realize Dairy Queen is more than just cold desserts, but every time we stop here it comes down to either a Royal treat, cone or shake. Prices have risen over the years. Service was slow, desserts tasty and parking easy to find.

My friend and myself had lunch here on Monday........basic good homestyle cooking, and excellent service.
My friend had the chicken, lentil soup, and I had the same soup and a chicken Sandwich.
For myself, the soup would have been enough, tasty and filling, so most of the Sandwich and vegies and dip were taken home. ( finished them for supper )
They came often with the coffee pot !

I had lunch here with classmates while attending a training course nearby at Western Maritime Institute. I had a Clubhouse with salad. The club was huge and delicious! A different take as it had roast beef as well as ham, chicken and bacon. I definitely enjoyed this meal and the others' food was well received and looked terrific! I would highly recommend this pub for it's outstanding food! Had a beer too and it wasn't even a total of 20 dollars!

This small restaurant caters to many locals for breakfast and lunch. Easy to see why : good standard fare like English breakfast or eggs Benedict but also original specials like Thai beef with noodles. It is very tasty, portions are generous, everything is cooked fresh in front of you by the owner. The two ladies on staff are friendly and welcoming.

Since the Old Bakery is - like almost all shops - closed on sundays, we found by chance this lovely, trendy and well frequented alternative.
A whole list of daily features is written on a blackboard.
My wife chose a clubhouse Sandwich and I had a pulled pork panini with apple slices. Both choices were well prepared and tasted perfect. Both were also accompanied by a very fresh and crispy salad.
And they know how good coffee should taste.
This was an excellent lunch stop on our way to Victoria!

We agree the cinnamon buns are the biggest and the best. Because they are constantly changing flavors there is no fear of getting bored. We bought a small carrot cake and although it was quite wonderful it had way more cream cheese icing than necessary. The icing is thick on the outside and it even had a layer on the inside. We thought it wasn't necessary to have nearly so much icing because it is rich and sweet.

Great tasting sushi made fresh for you or you can take the pre made out of the case. their bento boxes are very good value and offer a light lunch with healthy options. I quite often stop here for sushi when I am on the road, it is fast food with no guilt
