Pan cakes, Coffee, butter toast and scrambled eggs and books! What a combination. Sharing tables and thoughts with people around the world. Awesome experience. I'd definitely visit again.

The first impression of this Restaurant would be "SO LESS TABLES" but having said that I is also to be mentioned the food was great and steaming hot. Although BEEF is not mentioned in their menu but you can get BEEF if you ask for it. all rates are reasonable and according to quality served. The location is no the main roadside which is also very good.
A must visit for MOMO, THUPKA, NOODLE & TIBETIAN RECIPIE enthusiasts..

They serve up excellent local food and sandwiches, homemade pastas, ravioli and lasagna. You can hang out on the low couches with your cup of Lavazza and some sandwiches, browsing through books, playing Scrabble, using the free wi-fi, or chatting with hip locals.

This was formerly called Shyams but now it's being called by a different name as the original Marwari owner is running the place. Located just at the start of the Dow Hill Road this structure of no great significance is located conviniently by the road side to offer fellow travellers tea and snacks .Of course the fare is vegetarian. The lodging is adequate and suitable for parents of the students of boarding schools in and around Kurseong town.

Margaret's Deck, the latest edition to The Goodricke Teapot chain is nestled amongst the misty greens of the scenic Margaret's Hope tea estate in Kurseong, Darjeeling. Visitors to the Tea lounge can experience the picturesque Himalayan peaks, gushing streams and swaying orchids whilst they sip on the choicest selection of teas. It offers an experience of a lifetime with home brewed teas & hot meals.
We had Sandwich and tea which were awesome. The shop has a good selection of local tea leaves which are priced better than the tea estate directly. Amazing amazing views.... A must visit stop even if you don't drink green/ black tea.
